Republican Sen. David Vitter, of "serious sin in my past" fame, seems likely to win a second term.

Edwards/Mahoney bad, Vitter A-Ok.

The GOP is thrilled he wasn't banging 15 year old runaway boys for crack money

Support from the Big Boys

Vitter had the support and backing of the GOP guns in the Senate because they didn't want the possibility of a Dem being appointed to his seat. Luckily for him, his constituents have no problem with hypocracy.

At least Spitzer used his OWN money. This act alone qualifies him as a unique individual among politicians.

Opponents Campaign Slogan

Don't Send Vitter Back To D.C. Whore Around

I'd love to run this campaign.

I figure that spending a few thousand bucks on a billboard paste-up of an otherwise naked Vitter in diapers should do the trick. (So to speak.)

another one...

I just don't understand how people in high profile jobs think they can get away with hiring high priced hookers and cheating on their wives. You would think some of these guys would smarten up and realize that they need to be decent people or else they are going to be found out. And i hope they are, they deserve to be found out if they are whoring around. As for this guy, the media and the liberal illuminati are never going to let him live this down. He better get used to the questions no matter what his wife says.

It's Louisiana

As Edwin Edwards said,

"The only way I can lose this election is if I'm caught in bed with either a dead girl or a live boy."

Vitter's, uh, service providers, seem to have been both clearly alive and clearly female, so he's all good.

they should bargain now that we are in recession-

nothing wrong with buying a hooker but i think these politicos pay entirely too much. they need to learn how to negotiate the price, or else find cheaper prostitutes.

remember, all your prudish puritans out there, it's the oldest profession.

It takes one to "know" one...

Daddy always said, "You don't dip your pen in company ink." But it is okay to take a dip with GOP money every once in awhile. She looked like she was going to throw-up at any moment. I wonder if she consulted a good family-law attorney before the news conference? The marriage may be stonger than ever, but the TRUST factor is out the window. Stay tuned...
