Palin doesn't rule out Senate run

"My life is in God's hands," Sarah Palin told one interviewer.

Plain doesn't rule out...

that she's an imbecile.

Friday, November 14, 2008 03:18 PM

I believe...

God would like her to jump off a bridge at this point.

Friday, November 14, 2008 03:18 PM

Please Give her a Reality Show

She's obviously not going away, but at least that would keep her quarantined iat an appropriate media level.

Friday, November 14, 2008 03:20 PM

she is just a servent of god and the people

what ever they want her to do, she'll do. it's not up to her. she is just a pushover for god and her people.

and btw, it was god who greenlighted the "palling around with terrorists" line of attack, so back off.

Such self-aggrandizing.

So, it was God's plan to gas the Jews and the Gypsies and the homosexuals, but God wants Sarah Palin to be a Senator? Wow. God must really love Sarah Palin. I recently saw a show about a guy whose face and eyes were removed by a grizzly sow. Was that God's plan, Sarah? God wanted that guy blind and deformed, but he wants you pretty and perky?

If that's so, than God damn God's plans.

Pahlin won't like being junior senator

Greetings from MN and still counting...

The right keeps hoping that somehow Caribou Babe will lead them back from the deep red nascar wilderness but just is not NOT in the cards.

Caribou Barbie will not flourish in the "100 Club" where they actually vote and debate on the floor and in the drudge of comittee then record it all and publish every damn thing you do

What bills will she support and oppose? What issues will she espouse and which will she attack?

Uncle Ted got his power in Alaska by earmarks and the big money of appropriations committee.

The 100th Senator and national political joke will not find the Senate minority a pleasant place to be

Maybe a wink at her buddy Lieberman wil help ;)

Friday, November 14, 2008 03:33 PM

"Bring 'er on!!"

thank you, God!!

Friday, November 14, 2008 03:36 PM

I thought Alaska

required a special election and she didn't have the power to appoint herself, or anyone else.

If she did, seems to me it would be Sarah jamming herself through the crack in the door, and not God dragging her into the Senate.

Friday, November 14, 2008 03:38 PM

"Bring 'er on!! " cont.

if she does run ... it'll be clear -- God is a Democrat!!

Friday, November 14, 2008 03:46 PM

Ridiculous!

"If he's got doors open for me, that I believe are in our state's best interest, the nation's best interest, I'm going to go through those doors."

And there we have it: even the will of the almighty is subordinate to whether La Palin "believes" something to be true or not. The dead giveaway of the true religious charlatan.

Friday, November 14, 2008 03:51 PM

It will be interesting to see ...

... if the Republicans still want her after they figure out what they want to be going forward.

Friday, November 14, 2008 03:55 PM

please God

Let the Democrat win in Alaska so this woman will shut up and get out of the limelight.

Friday, November 14, 2008 03:59 PM

This is the sound

of me sticking my finger in my eye. Ouch!

Seriously? Audible? Please, make her stop giving interviews. Pass a law. Appoint her guardian of Mars. Send her there.

And on the other hand. What would we write about?

Palin's road to Hell, paved with bad intentions

My life is in God's hands. If he's got doors open for me, that I believe are in our state's best interest, the nation's best interest, I'm going to go through those doors."

Gee, what is God's policy about women holding public office, anyway? Should we turn to the Good Book for moral guidance on this matter? I mean, Palin's a "real" Christian woman, right? Biblically literate?

Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but to be under obedience, as also saith the law. (I Corinthians 14:34)

Sarah Palin granteth too many interviews. She talketh too much.

But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. (I Timothy 2:12)

Sarah Palin doth contravene the Will of God by attempting to seek power over menfolk.

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything." (Ephesians 5:22-24)

Doth Sarah Palin seek power for her husband, Todd?

For from garments cometh a moth, and from women wickedness. Better is the churlishness of a man than a courteous woman, a woman, I say, which bringeth shame and reproach." (Eccles. 42:13-14)

What about a churlish woman like Sarah Palin?

And this doth bode not well for the $100K wardrobe...

In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array (I Timothy 2:9)

Just saying; Palin invoketh God at her great peril in her hubristic, worldly ambitions.

Friday, November 14, 2008 04:13 PM

two strikes

Sarah Palin: "God will do the right thing on election day."

God: "Obama"

Sarah Palin: "If he's got doors open for me..."

God: "Slam. Begich."

You'd think she'd get the message. But then, she hasn't realized yet that the presidential election is over, so maybe it's not such a big surprise she can't see that her god doesn't think much of her.

Friday, November 14, 2008 04:13 PM

first of all

I thought she'd ruled out a senate run last week with an elegant "Nope." I also thought she was one to "plow through doors."

That said, I bet if she becomes the Jr Senator from Alaska, she'll "pal around" with MN Congresswoman Michelle Bachman. And that might be worth watching.

Friday, November 14, 2008 04:13 PM

If Stevens loses, then....

God is opening a door for Sarah marked EXIT? Sweet.

Friday, November 14, 2008 04:14 PM

@Slackie Onassis

Oh please, oh please let there be an interviewer who will question her about these points on nationwide T.V.

Friday, November 14, 2008 05:02 PM

God's Got a Clock...

In this youth-crazed culture of ours, Sarah Palin will soon be an old hag. Even worse, she will be an old hag with an undisciplined mind.

A first round in the U.S. senate should just about use up whatever remnants of youthful glow old Sarah's got left in her, and then what's she gonna do? One can only trade on one's looks for so long. And there's nothing she or anyone else can do about a lifetime of intellectual neglect.

So I say go for it, Sarah. I'm sure your fellow senators will be more than happy to show you how things work in God’s world.
