"gas guzzlin' SUV"? Surely they jest...
And I hope everyone left in the Republican base takes this to heart...all 11 of em.
You could cram knowledge into Palin's thick skull for the next 4 years and she still won't be able to tell shit from apple butter. And the saucy wench role she loves to play so much is going to be less appealing with every passing day.
Besides, she's got more immediate concerns: what happens if anyone really investigates who paid for that $500,000.00 lake house built by the same contractors who built the $15,000,000.00 hockey rink just a 3-wood away from Sarah's place? How come no building permits?? Anyone keep receipts for labor & materials??? Oh, and did I mention some of the contractors also worked on convicted felon Ted Stevens' house??
... then I think Obama will coast to an easy re-election in 2012.
...But to persevere is diabolical.
Those nutbags think that they own the Republican Party and if they succeed they will realize how small that party will become. As for Palin, the Alaskan Hillbilly (thank you, Jon Steward)the fact that she may actually believe this crap shows how disconnected from reality she is and how dangerous it would be to have her in any position of national reponsibility.
It's easy to manufacture a bumper sticker, you don't need official approval, they're charging 10 bucks a pair (down from $20 - what a steal!) so why not?
But they are dreamin'.
Yes, Republicans, do it, do it, do it.
many standard bearers of the greedy old parasites party will be re-born in the 'america party', very soon.
they will begin with public rallies, bonfire meetings, and consciousness raising sessions in the homes of unamerican figures like union leaders.
It says, "The liberal media wants you to think that Sarah held John McCain back." For the record, It's actually the conservatives that came forward and gave credibility to the notion that Palin's bizarre words and actions screwed up the campaign.
Four years to go and they're still telling lies... I guess they'll never learn.
Sarah Palin wants to keep the change? Yep, at 44 (48 by 2012), I guess she's starting to worry about those things. Can't say I blame her. You can keep my change, too.
We saw how well that worked for Hillary Clinton. I'm sure Palin will manage her 2012 campaign even worse, too.
It might be terribly depressing for Ms. Palin to have to return to Alaska's endless, dreary winter after the excitement and glamour of the campaign. I can easily imagine her falling into a real depression when she returns home to her pregnant daughter, her disabled baby, and the corruption charges. Lots of people, especially women of her age, gain weight easily. Many folks turn to food for comfort. I can imagine her sitting on her couch, eating Ding-Dongs and potato chips, watching videos of her appearances, and by spring putting on 50 or 60 pounds. What would her political chances be then?
I suspect, based on comments I overheard men make who were planning to vote for her, that it was her hotness they really liked. Some men can see better than they can think. Would the GOP want her if she's a size 18?
The idea of Palin running 2012 is something, I feel, that plenty of Democrats can get behind.
The thing to try to get your head round ... Candidate Palin won't want her running mate to appear wiser or more experienced than she is.
Palin/Fetus 2012? Y'all know it makes sense, you betcha.
Ha you assume that the Alaskans will take her back. Last I heard they where going to stand at the Candian border with pitch forks and wolves on leashes.
They left out God, the commie pinko atheists.
As for me, I've already pre-ordered "1/21/09 Obama's First Day"
I think as many progressives as possible should get behind that idea. I think it would split the Republican Party. Go for it, Sarah!
But I'm a little worried about these folks who worship Palin and blame John McCain, the MSM, and evil liberals for the Republican loss. Some of the rhetoric on FreeRepublic and Little Green Footballs is kinda unhinged. Various other sites like Michelle Malkin and Fox News get all sorts of responses tearfully pledging undying support to Palin and her "true" conservatism. Maybe they are fringe, maybe it's a long-shot, but I thought that nobody in their right mind would vote for W. in 2000. Palin has been compared to W. more than once on this site.
Obama's team would be well-served to stay frosty and watch out for these people.
I'd put two on my car because I just think that Palin would be the most brilliant choice for the GOP to nominate in 2012. I mean what better way to get us to 8 years of rational sanity with Barrack as President than to have Palin and him sitting at a debate, and her saying shit like "ya' know" and "drill drill drill."
"Every time she winks, you take a drink" should be her tagline for the campaign.
No better way to get a Democrat into the White House than to have an incompetent redneck on the Republican ticket. I'd switch parties for the primary to get Palin nominated.
that we pitch and buy a whole set of these for readerx2, elephanthead, tiberius, etc... speaking of which, haven't heard much from them lately.
seriously -- i predict that a far more serious threat to palin's nomination will come in the form of a repub savant from the south -- jindal comes to mind, but there will be others -- also claiming to return the party to its conservative roots. hopefully in a genuine way. i would actually not mind a west wing-style race and debate on the issues between two principled candidates.
Please--I know what you mean, but "elephanthead" would more appropriately refer to Ganesha, the god who helps remove obstacles, a good guy, not to elephantman, the sullen troll.
...the RNC will actually allow her to run unchecked in 2012? They aren't stupid, and only those most in denial can't see that she cost McCain any chance of an election victory. I can't really imagine that they'd let Pat Buchanan's less intellectual sister become the party standard bearer. Heh-heh...here's hoping. (^-^)v
