I pulled up an online version of the Declaration of Indepence and you know what? It was TYPED and it was typed in Times New Roman font, and it was NOT handwritten in cursive script! That PROVES that the whole Declaration of Independence thing was a fraud, and that we are are still a colony of Great Britain!
That also explains why our national language is STILL English more than 200 years later, and why our children are still being forcibly indoctrinated with "Winnie the Pooh."
Hola Amigo!
Finally, November 4th - I'm taking off in a few minutes to vote for the next president of the United States, Barack Obama, at my polling station here in Tucson, Arizona. I don't care if the line goes for blocks down the street and takes hours.
Good to hear from you, dude!
Hola Amigo!
An Ignatius J Reilly reference?! What a serendipitous turn of Fortuna's Wheel!
(seriously dude, that totally made me spittake coffee...nice work!)
You have no explanation for the one pixel error in the forgery.
Ad hominem attacks mean that you got nothing and you know it.
Hold onto the lie. Enjoy a Presidency that starts with deceit before the man is sworn in.
We've all heard the news that IL Senator Barack Obama's grandmother passed away early this morning. Lost in the election coverage is the sad story that IL Senator Richard Durbin's 40-year-old daughter passed away two days ago. Both families are dealing with their grief in their own dignified manner. Both deaths remind us that tragedy -- even when expected through illness -- is a fact of life.
Just thought I'd pass on this information in case anyone wants to send condolescences to both of these good men and their families.
He sounds like a cross between Ignatius J. Reilly and the comic book store owner on The Simpsons. Dollars to donuts he spends Sundays annotating the New York Times in the margins.
As my late great uncle used to say..."better thee than me."
Your arguments are getting weaker and weaker. Your conspiracy theory is lame. You make Nader supporters look like losers.
The quiet heroes. I'm with you. And as you noted, nothing can ever diminish what they brought to our world.
I now assume that the left bottom text is simply the id and version number of the template for the document. They probably still have that on them.
The time of birth and the island is the only coincidence. The misalignment of text on a single ine is clear evidence of image manipulation. Even if you use a line or box as a guide, sub pixel alignment is problematic. HONOLULU was added to the template with OAHU and it was not aligned properly. If the letters on your paper money were not lined up they would be fake and the same can be said of the document. Typical word processors do not allow for sub pixel placement of text characters. This was probably done with Photoshop.
It appears as if your candidate or one of his staff manufactured evidence to counter the claim that he was not born in the USA. Open it up in photoshop and use a new layer to make a rectangle the length of the document. use the cursor to raise it up to the bottom of the word HONOLULU. Then scroll over to OAHU and see that it is one pixel higher than the rectangle.
It is plain and simple.
You will not do it because you are simply trolling.
You prefer a candidate who has done a sloppy job of forgery in order to silence a legitimate question.
As for McCain, he was born on a military base and that is an exception to the rule. McCain will not bring this up because, like Kerry, he is there just to provide some excitement, not become President. He will not challenge Obama on this. The election is phony.
I don't work for Nader. I serve NO MAN.
Now get off my lawn thou filthy troll and good cheer and blessings to you and yours! (the worst one may do to a troll) For the truth is before you and you pretend it is a wet fart and who can blame you because when it come to this election
In the Episcopal Church the 2nd of November is The Commemoration of All Faithful Departed. One of the readings for the day is from Ecclesiasticus and it is longer than I want to type. I begins with the famous "Let us now sing the praises of famous men..." but it ends talking about those quiet heroes and how it may seem to people of their time that they were of little consequence and will not be remembered: "But these were also godly people, whose righteous deeds have not been forgotten. Their offspring will continue forever, and their glory will never be blotted out. Their bodies are buried in peace, but their name lives on generation after generation.
Mrs. Dunham reminded me a lot of my own grandmothers and her contributions to this world are such that no trolls or blogging troglodytes can ever diminish them.
Agreed, this guy doesn't represent Nader's positions or mindset at all. He sounds more like a mentally imbalanced right-winger.
ss: "Zoom in on the bottom left of the document. Read the evidence, unless you wish to believe that the word LASER was imprinted on birth certificates issued in 1961."
The document is from the state of Hawaii in June 2007.
ss: "The document was generated 40 years after the fact which is why there is no mention of the name of the hospital, its address, the weight and length of the baby or the names of the attending physicians."
From what I've been able to discern, other Hawaii birth certificates do not have that info.
SS: "Do you really think that in 1961 that black people were referred to as an African in regards to race? That was before civil rights. The fathers race would have been listed as "Colored" or "Negro" but not "African" which was even more suspicious than the perfect helvetica text where typewritten text should have been present."
I don't know, you'll have to look up some other Hawaii records. It's possible he was referred to as African due to his father's nationality.
So where are you getting all this again? What site? What source? I assume this isn't your own made-up theory, but that you're following a site somewhere. Which one? Is this part of the Ralph Nader campaign effort? (You are a Nader supporter, correct?)
A little news for you: This bogus conspiracy is not going to get Nader elected. Nor will it prevent Obama from being elected. McCain himself was born in the Panama Canal zone. Who cares?
A judge in a court of law threw out the entire matter as frivolous. The evidence and explanations for Obama's place of birth are perfectly reasonable. Obama may or may not have the original birth certificate. Not everybody has theirs. I only just recently found mine, which was at the bottom of a box of papers in my father's closet for years.
You're grasping desperately here. What else do you care about? Do you care about any of the issues? Do you care about the fact that somebody's grandmother died? No? Why not?
