Palin releasing medical records -- or not

Sarah Palin told NBC's Brian Williams she would make the records public, but the McCain campaign is now walking that promise back.

The letters thread is now closed.

Jeebus

"...rest them assured over"???

This woman makes Shrub sound like Sir Laurence Olivier.

Thursday, October 23, 2008 02:03 PM

This is so odd what is the point of not?

I mean it makes it look like there is something to hide. The whole thing invites more curiosity... I wonder if there is some plastic surgery or something else that doesn't fit the story....

Yeah.

Pacificwhim beat me to it. I love "rest them assured over."

Need to know

I think we need to know what kind of contraception Palin has had or not had, Pap results, mammograms, blood pressure, whether she takes any medication, and any bloodwork results for the last 10 years if we are to consider whether the lady is up for being Commander-in-Chief.

I hate to sound like a stickler, but this is an important job she is applying for.

On second thoughts, I really don't care, because I have already decided for whom to vote and I will not be punching her ticket.

And...

... any abortions or failed pregnancies.

My Tin Foil Hat Says...

Is she not releasing them because they might indicate she's only had 4 children? As you'll recall, the news that Bristol Palin is pregnant was released by the McCain-Palin campaign only after internet rumors that Trig was not Sarah's child, but rather Bristol.

Trig being 4 months old, and Bristol being 5 months pregnant was supposed to put this rumor to rest. But, what would REALLY put the rumor to rest is some good old fashioned medical records.

Palin records

My guess is she's had some minor psych treatment--seen a therapist, couples counselor or something. She just seems like the type.

To release or not to release

Look, Sarah Palin is reluctant to release her medical records because she believes in a woman's right to privacy and the right to keep personal medical decisions between a woman and her doctor.

This Is So Stupid

The McCain campaign keeps doing this. They say there is nothing to hide but then stonewalls releasing documents or answering questions. This leaves a vacumm that gets filled with, well, whatever you want to fill it with. Then, eventually, the info is released and while there may be something a little weird in it, nothing that's going to derail the campaign. But no one remembers that. All anyone remembers is that they stalled in releasing the info. Even if their aim is to win the news cycle, this is a stupid way to go about it.

Release the medical records and have done with it. Palin is a like a fan dancer - it's all tease and no pay-off.

Thursday, October 23, 2008 02:19 PM

She is as dumb as a box of rocks.

Seriously.

Even after the travesty that is the Bush adminstration over the last eight years-- even after he lowered the bar on elequence to the basement of the White House, she is a laughing stock for good reason.

I bet she does believe it is the fault of the liberal media because she is simply too stupid to take measure of her own limitations.

Thursday, October 23, 2008 02:22 PM

Sarah Palin

is not stupid, she is evil. I'm sorry but I can't come to any other conclusion at this point.

Thursday, October 23, 2008 02:24 PM

Something smells FISHY!

My instinct and common sense tells me she is hiding something in those medical records!

Is it possible there might have been some kind of surgical procedure she doesn't want the public to be aware of? Maybe a tubal ligation, or even a hysterectomy a few years ago? Maybe treatment with anti-depressants or meds for anxiety?

Could be any number of things! BUT: not releasing the records the same as the others have, makes one wonder....just WHAT information is she trying to supress?

Thursday, October 23, 2008 02:25 PM

LOL mizbinkley

Good one!

Thursday, October 23, 2008 02:27 PM

obviously

she had a sex change and needs to hide it, for obvious reasons.

Thursday, October 23, 2008 02:29 PM

romanydog

Why not both? They are certainly not traits that are mutually exclusive- look at George Bush.

Thursday, October 23, 2008 02:29 PM

@mizbinkley

You gave me the case of the giggles. Of course, Sarah Palin doesn't want to release her records. She firmly believes that all women have the right to privacy and that the government shouldn't tell them what to do with their bodies...er...nevermind. Just another example how the woman continues to make a fool of herself.

Thursday, October 23, 2008 02:31 PM

Will she release them?

(linkback) Yes or No? Will Sarah Palin release her medical records? [VOTE] - http://www.thriveorfail.com/71869

Thursday, October 23, 2008 02:35 PM

Hiding something?

It's obvious that her first child was conceived out of wedlock, he was a normal full term weight yet he was born a little less than eight months after they were married.

It's odd that nobody has pointed out the obvious hypocrisy of her stance on contraception and sex before marriage when both she and her daughter conceived out of wedlock.

I suppose they're hiding the records to keep that little tidbit from becoming a solid fact (now they can at least pretend it's all just speculation).

Sarah Should Just Say No

If this isn't the STUPIDEST election I have EVER seen. The ObaMorons just keep coming up with BS to HARASS Palin. She should tell them where they can stick their medical records.

This is the same thing that SCUMBAG OBAMA did with badgering Hillary about her income tax returns. Obama is such an INCREDIBLY SLIMY LOW-LIFE I don't understand how anybody could possibly want that SLEEZEBAG in the White House.

What an astronomical HYPOCRITE that scumbag is. Whenever anyone asks SCUMBAG OBAMA for anything personal he says "I'm more interested in talking about how pee-poe are hurting on Main Street...", or some such BS. Or his lobotomized ObaMorons start screaming "racist, racist" whenever anybody has the AUDACITY to ask him about his SLIMY associates, like Wright, Ayers, Doran, Rezko, Farrahkan, The Chicago Democratic Machine, etc. ad nauseum.

But here we are the WHORES of what USED TO BE a reputable and fair-minded mass-media now badgering Sarah Palin for spending too much on her WARDROBE. Oh-my-God. And never mentioning ONE WORD about how never-proud-to-be-an-American Michelle gets her dresses hand-made by an expensive designer. AS IF that is some crime.

Are Vice Presidential candidates supposed to dress like Trailer Trash? What a JOKE.

Now they come up with this CRAP about Sarah Palin's medical records. The ObaMoron FILTH just want to keep peoples' thoughts off of the MASSIVE FILTH and CORRUPTION that is buried away in Obama's SORDID 20-year history on the South Side of Chicago (one of the most CORRUPT places on earth).

And then these degenerate WHORES in the mass media who have totally sacrificed whatever pitiful level of INTEGRITY they once had to go crawling around on all 4 paws doing whatever Oblahblahblah and his filthy followers tell them to do.

Sarah Palin should just tell these CREEPS to stick their medical records up their well-greased wazoos. What a collection of sub-human SCUMBAGS!!!!
