In this coming month, the Republican Party is going to show us a kind of demagogy that will make Goebbels look like an altar boy. My biggest concern is that Obama will do what he did in July--lay back, stay clean and hope the public sees through it all. All while the polls start heading south for him again. Dems, fight back like hell, even if it means throwing slime yourselves. This election is the most important in American history since 1860. These bastards can't hijack the country again.

It is a nonissue. Guilt by the thinnest of associations. On this basis, we're all guilty of something.

This is why I worry about what the next month will bring. Unsupported charges will dominate the race. And even if Obama answers them all, the association will have been made.

I just realized that the link in my post was to a response to Clinton attacks using Ayers. What a reminder of the inappropriate attacks on Obama during the primary. I hope that this is a lesson to the Dems about the dangers of behaving like Republicans.
I truly have come to respect Hillary Clinton. I like to think that she got caught up in the moment and got some bad advice. I like what Biden said at the debate about not questioning the motives of others.
Still, it was a flashback to recall that Obama was fighting this kind of crap during the primaries.
