"Oh my God, I bought "We are the world" years ago, it must mean I supported Michael Jackson's inappropriate behavoir...
Distract, distract, distract, that's all they have. Hey Sarah, explain McCain's cost neutral tax break for health insurance for me, will ya?
-- AnnieW"
When was Michael Jackson convicted of inappriate behavior?
I meant to say inappropriate behavior.
In this coming month, the Republican Party is going to show us a kind of demagogy that will make Goebbels look like an altar boy. My biggest concern is that Obama will do what he did in July--lay back, stay clean and hope the public sees through it all. All while the polls start heading south for him again. Dems, fight back like hell, even if it means throwing slime yourselves. This election is the most important in American history since 1860. These bastards can't hijack the country again.
Obama deals with the Ayers question on his website: http://factcheck.barackobama.com/factcheck/2008/04/17/fact_check_on_clinton_attacks.php
It is a nonissue. Guilt by the thinnest of associations. On this basis, we're all guilty of something.
But the red herring has clearly done its work. Now he is associated with terrorism in your mind.
This is why I worry about what the next month will bring. Unsupported charges will dominate the race. And even if Obama answers them all, the association will have been made.
And to the smug Hillaryite (or Republican troll), don't think for a minute that there isn't an arsenal full of questionable Clinton associations.
I say this with no malice toward Hillary Clinton.
It simply is true that the Republican smear machine is pretty much ready for anyone, because it operates by innuendo and half-truths.
This is an absolute first and frankly it's f---ing brilliant. The California Democratic Party has a giant electronic billboard up somewhere near a Los Angeles-area rally that Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin is doing today that is displaying live text-message questions people are sending in. On top of that, the whole thing is streaming live back onto the web using UStream.tv. Check it out:
http://www.techpresident.com/blog/entry/31013/ask_sarah_palin_ca_dems_interactive_billboard_goes_live
To submit a question for our electronic billboard, text the keyword ASK then the question to the number 69866.
For example, send to 69866: ASK You said you'd run a respectful campaign on the issues, what happened?
Keep your questions under 160 characters including spaces and remember to keep them family friendly since we're showing them in public.
planting tongue firmly in cheek By her own standard, does that mean she approves of Soviet-era Siberian Gulags? I mean, if you can "know Russia" just by looking at it, how are we to know she's not a closet commie? Brezhnev's Babbushka? Putin's little Pumpkin? Gromyko's Gal Pal? I mean, she lives in a "Red State" doesn't she? There must be some connection with Republican states being "Red" right?
Better Dead than Red!
Apparently, Sarah forgot one of the Ten Commandments ... "Thou shalt not bear false witness". It surely hasn't stopped that lying whiner from spewing deceitful smears.
Do as I say, not as I do, right? ... Ms. Holier Than Thou, BITCH!
They will trot out Wright and Rezko on top of Ayres.
but, Obama has:
John's pal, G. Gordon Liddy, a convicted felon for their Ayres
John Hagee for Rev. Wright
Charles Keating for Tony Rezko.
For everything they trot out to try to tar Obama with, he has an equal to throw right back in McCain's face.
...a bitch, if you want. No sane person would disagree. She's also a dickhead. So is hootowl the concern troll.
Wrote and performed a song entitled "Suck a Caribou's Ass," which could serve handily as the perfect anti-Palin anthem. Look it up. Google it. This was the underground artist guy that gave us that great song "Rock and Roll McDonalds."
I just realized that the link in my post was to a response to Clinton attacks using Ayers. What a reminder of the inappropriate attacks on Obama during the primary. I hope that this is a lesson to the Dems about the dangers of behaving like Republicans.
I truly have come to respect Hillary Clinton. I like to think that she got caught up in the moment and got some bad advice. I like what Biden said at the debate about not questioning the motives of others.
Still, it was a flashback to recall that Obama was fighting this kind of crap during the primaries.
Not trying to open healing wounds. Just looking at lessons to learn from this election: Be careful about throwing mud at other candidates. One will end up as the nominee.
As I set by and watch this election,It amazes me at to some extremes that BARRACK HUSSEIN OBAMA gets by with in the main stream media, but not this:: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8QcpdUtxNQ This video show Obamas ties with Odinga.
Here's some info on Obama and Ayers:: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qjvc6vfxRwI&feature=relatedObama
As a Democrat this information scares the crap out of me.
you're a tillery lady
fake.
If he can publicly denounce this guy's agenda, I don't mind their past relationship.
Obama has publicly condemned Ayer's actions (that happened when Obama was eight-years-old, mind you). Where have you been?
Ignorance. This is what Troll Tillery REALLY means:
"Hey everyone, don't look at the train wreck on the side of the road Otherwise Known As our economy. Don't look at dithering, flailing McCain and his total inability to articulate a Plan for our nation's sagging job market, massive deficit and failing mortgage industry. Let's all have a long and fruitless discussion about Ayers who has not, nor ever has had ANYTHING to do with Barack Obama's plan to restore the American economy and our credibility in the world. Let's just sit around and bitch about a well-off college professor and his brief, irrelevant connections to Barack Obama. We'll have lots of time since we will not have jobs."
Much of the initial coverage about Fort Hood turned out to be wrong. Is there anything wrong with that?
