The right wing dolt and the future of the Republican party

The Republican troll is a curious animal. A sort of mixture of deep resentment, playground bully, a ranting, lying, rarely accurate blowhard.

Let us examine a member of the species – zoltan newberry. Ignoring whether (“can I call you zolt?”) has horns and a tail, it (no observable sign of being a mammal (does not suckle young) or humanity}, a zolt communicates by RANTING and activity that shows emphasis but rarely reason. Zolt is also prone to making up names for people, as was his patron Saint Dubya ( cf brownie, pootie-poot (Vladamir Pootin), fredo (for Attorney General), stretch, etc.) though like a schooyard bully he expects to convince people by calling the OBAMABOTS. He also seems to have a problem with the caps lock key on his keyboard.

Zolt is also distinguished by his touching belief that he can just fling out dubious information (actually outright lies) on the Internet, a place where almost everything he says can be instantly checked, and yet, despite the demonstrable fact that he has just uttered an outright falsehood, he may be trusted. Thus for example Zolt will denounce a mysterious liburral organisations such as as:

[a] leftist organizations such as ACORN, where Obama was also a trainer, a trainer of militant community rabble rousers ("community organizers"). They were taught that the ends justify the means, that it was OK to smear a person or an organization into submission, that businesses needed to be intimidated into following their radical policies, and that elections can be won through election fraud, padding voter rolls with made up people, people who moved and people in the grave yards.

This strikes readers as bizarre since Acorn has been providing free housing counseling to low and moderate income homebuyers since 1987 has opened HUD-certified housing counseling offices across the US, helping over 50,000 families to achieve homeownership (HUD by the way is part of the Bush Adminstration, so Dubya approved of Acorn). ACORN Housing provides one-on-one mortgage loan counseling, first-time homebuyer classes, and helps clients obtain affordable mortgages through our unique lending partnerships. They look at peoples savings and credit history to see if you qualify for a mortgage, help you with credit problems and to create a downpayment savings plan and then help arrange a mortgage with lower interest rates, lower down payments and lower settlement costs than what banks usually offer.

Hmm, what is it that Zolt finds objectionable about Acorn. Is Zolt a predatory lender perhaps, I’m sure they do not like Acorn. Is Zolt trying to foreclose on someone, I’m sure Zolt would then find Acorn pretty objectionable too. But the funny thing is, Hockey Moms all over the US probably would say Acorn is a great organisation, so would Joe Sixpack, so would Main Street, so what gives.

Maybe Zolt is a Dolt? He is certainly an embarrassment and an electoral liability to the Republican party. He, and Sarah Palin and this nonsense they trot out is why they are losing this election.
