    According to a CNN poll I saw last night, 53% of the population still have a favorable rating. So while according to the poll the unfavorable rating was rising, there is still a lot of people uninformed about her, frankly. If more people saw the Couric interview where she was unable to see to say even just one coherent thought, they'd be appalled. McCain lucked out by having that interview drowned out by a very busy news week.

    I think McCain should've picked Huckabee. He would've excited the base and would not have embarrassed the campaign in interviews.
