in defense of doom and gloom

Hey, the Obama campaign just put out their own scary ad depicting McCain winning on election night because of lower-than-expected turnout. My only criticism is that Palin should have been in that ad too.

They're not taking anything for granted, and we shouldn't be either. Whenever I see Obama at 50 or 51 or whatever, I take it with a grain of salt. Things are going to get really underhanded and nasty in the last three weeks, and we can't do anything to stop that, but we need to ensure that the Democrats are so far above it that the dirty tricks come to nothing.

And I don't want to see us just squeak by this year. I want to see us tip over 300, baby. I want North Carolina, Virginia, and Nevada. Not to mention the whole Midwest, including Missouri, Indiana, and, of course, Ohio. Oh, and Florida would be nice, too. Is that too much to ask?
