The Great Thing About Palin Is

The more she talks, the more she helps Obama.

Friday, September 12, 2008 05:20 PM

FINALLY! Time for all Democratic women to unload!

Time is short! Get to fucking work! Destroy this moron!

Friday, September 12, 2008 05:31 PM

Does anyone know...

Has Clinton broken her silence on Palin yet? I know she's been strongly stumping for the ticket for the past weeks, but I haven't seen any mention of her taking on Palin. Isn't that kind of weird?

Keep it up with the righteous indignation

Keep up the whining Obama camp. That is usually what wins it for you, isn't it?

He should listen more to Bill Clinton. He's the only Democrat to come along in decades who understands what successful Republican politicians like Reagan get all too well... Kill them with a smile. Laugh it off, make them look silly, and change the subject to how normal people will have more money in their wallets if you're president.

Obama is running every failed Democratic campaign since before I was born. The only reason he's even hovering in the 40s is because Bush and his party are such demonstrable failures. Yet he's never won against a serious Republican opponent. He can win Democratic primaries like a pro, but all that means is he talks to Democrats well. If he wants to win his first real electoral challenge he has to stop talking about himself and how unfairly he's being treated and start talking about me and you and what matters to real people, which, if he's smart he'll realize has as much to with being honorable in campaign ads as it does with lipstick and on a pig.

Professor

Dude,

she's the KO punch!

Save her for last, oh it's going to hurt.

@stephendedalus82

Never teach a pig (RNC) how to sing: You'll make him (RNC) angry and you'll get bored. Nothing to teach to ignorant (Republicans) who don't care to learn.

BridgesZZZZ to nowhere

The Alaskan bridges to nowhere were plural. There is a second earmark bridge that Palin has not killed at all. It is a bridge that the city of Anchorage has not approved or signed on for in any final way. It is currently being sold as a quicker route to Wasilla, Sarah P.s home. The ground it is proposed to be built on is some of the most unstable anywhere in the world, ground that experiences earthquakes continuously and is mostly glacial silt.

Alaska has genuinely needed the help of many of the earmarks of the past because we are huge geographically and have a very limited infrastructure in a pretty damned harsh environment. This second bridge, however would mostly benefit the oil soaked pussies of south central(urban) alaska who keep voting for republicans to save them from taxes, even as they receive money from the "guvvamint" they claim to loathe.

I'd like the media to focus a little more on the "second" bridge because it truly IS a grossly selfish greedy request for money when our nation is sliding so deeply into debt and our state coffers are so full (and not as a result of anything SarahP has done either!) It clarifies how Sarah see needs vs. desires and how she figures out her "shopping list" from our sugar daddy government.

Oh, I see, Deb.

If a Republican says what a lot of Democrats are thinking, then she's off-base. By the way, Bill himself called his wife a bitch the day he was inaugurated. Why didn't you tell him to STFU?

"Wasserman Schultz said, 'Sarah Palin should spare us the phony sentiment'".

Oh, yeah sure... That's like asking a boa constrictor, please don't eat my chihuahua.

Friday, September 12, 2008 07:31 PM

Shoot. You ain't no Farrah!

I'm gonna git you sista Sarah!

Friday, September 12, 2008 07:43 PM

Or maybe...

Re: "Oh, yeah sure... That's like asking a boa constrictor, please don't eat my chihuahua."

That's like asking a boa constrictor, please don't eat my lipsticked pig.

Or pit bull?

@The Professor

I don't think Hillary should attack Palin, all that does it raise Palin's profile. The big dogs of the Democratic party like the Clintons, Dean, Rahm, Obama and Biden should go after McCain, the guy who's actually running for President. They need to make the race about the top of the ticket, focusing all their energy on the number two person will cost them the election.

Which is not to say Palin should not be called when she lies or distorts, just that attacks on Palin can be effectively handled by people like Wasserman-Schultz and others who are a little lower in the Democratic party hierarchy. This sends the message that she is not in Hillary's league.

In fact, if I were Joe Biden, every day I'd be saying I'm really working on preparing for my debate with Palin because she's a formidable opponent. If not, she is given the benefit of low expectations. If she goes into the debate with everyone thinking she's going to be terrible, all she needs to do speak in complete sentences and people will be impressed. Why give her that advantage?

Palin's Credentials

I'm not sure Palin will be so easy to dismiss. After all, she can clearly speak several languages; american, english and canadian. Palin can only win because the measuring stick for Republikkkans will be low; anytime she is proved wrong, it will be clearly because those who see that are elitists who sip unamerican lattes.

Friday, September 12, 2008 08:14 PM

"demeaning epithet"

That would be "bitch."

Bravo to Wasserman-Schultz (sp?), but she should have come right out and said the word. Only doing so could really drive the point home on a visceral level.

I applaud that she spoke out, but diluting the offense with such weak-borscht language does nobody any favors, imo.

Scatology

Each morsel as it is squeezed out from the gaping maw of the MSM must be savored, analyzed, sniffed and tasted for the edification of the lumpen proletariat for only the best and most prized should be issued forth for their delight, inhalations and the rubbing on the face which marks the truest and most faithful who deserve only the best.

Ah Alex, you are a master of the art!

You gonna hose yourself off now?
