Karl Rove, flip-flopper

Like some of his fellow Republicans, Karl Rove seems to have experienced a miraculous change in parts of his worldview when Sarah Palin joined the ticket.

Great episode

The entire Daily Show episode from which this clip was extracted was insane! I don't watch the show as much as I should, but referring to Fred Thompson and Two-time Joe as Senators Foghorn Leghorn and Droopy Dog is just too much...

Very true, this posting

Their hypocrisy is breathtaking in its audacity and shamelessness. But it's all in a day's work for the GOP. I just gave some money to the Obama campaign, felt good.

Isn't it beautiful?

Thank God for Jon Stewart. I wonder if any of these Bozo's actually get the fact that they are complete and total hypocrites?

Thursday, September 4, 2008 06:16 PM

Jon Stewart is genius

I missed the first part, but saw the Dick Morris part earlier today, and Stewart nailes it when he called Morris a lying sack of shit. Why does Comedy Central have to do the real reporting for this country?

Thursday, September 4, 2008 06:23 PM

No shock here

I love when Jon Stewart nails these guys, but I was hardly surprised that Rove would flip flop for political convenience (and O'Reilly, Dick Morris). He could devote entire episodes to catching these guys in flagrant hypocrisy.

Exxxxxxxxxxx-cellent!

Let's see then/now clips EVERY NIGHT.

Rove an opportunistic liar?

Alex I think you owe the gentleman an apology!

We need to start a fund

To support the comedy writers that will be unemployed if the Republicans keep doing their job for free.

Required viewing

The Daily Show should be required viewing for every citizen in this country.

Thank God for Comedians

The episode last night was priceless. Half way through I hit "record" on my PVR because I want to be able to watch it again this weekend, while I detox from the bits of the RNC I was able to stomach.

The MSM won't do its job, but at least someone will...

The sad thing about the Daily Show...

...is that they are better journalists than actual journalists...

Thursday, September 4, 2008 08:26 PM

The Problem is that they have their finger on the Button

In order to behave like this, you have to have a personality disorder, or suffer from some borderline/sociopathic complex.

This might be funny except for the fact that these maniacs are currently controlling our nuclear arsenal and have the capacity to bring their apocalyptic visions to fruition.

It's truly terrifying.

Later, on Colbert

He showed a clip from 2006 of Lieberman referring to himself as Obama's friend and mentor.

AND Karl Rove was wrong.

Wasilla is the fifth largest city in Alaska in 2005, according to Wikipedia. Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau, and Sitka are all larger (Fairbanks and Juneau are THREE TIMES larger than Wasilla).

Why just flip-flop when you can invent facts, too?

Fair and Balanced

Karl Rove was just living up to the Fox News slogan. He's making sure that every one of his commentaries is balanced by another of his commentaries taking the exact opposite stance. (Please note, opposite stances will only be taken if the contradiction helps further right wing people and ideology.) With hypocritical commentators like this, Fox can become the first self-balancing news organization.

Funny piece, but...

Why arent you talking about Olbermanns' powerful reaction to the incredibly tasteless 9/11 vid the Republicans ran at the convention? That is infinitely more noteworthy than 95% of your YouTube clips!
