Hey, didn't he used to be governor of a liberal, Eastern state . . . Oh, never mind.

That was just puzzling. I think some of these guys (Lieberman, Romney) were driven insane by their disappointment over losing out to Gov. Palin in the "race" for that wonderful VP job.

Which has a population today of about 380,000 people and is the state capital, is only a part time job. I can't even imagine what a do nothing post the mayor of North Where the Fuck Are We, Alaska is. A mayor for the most part, in every city and town in America, is answerable to a council board, or the Town Manager or whatever similar job does the REAL work. I just heard Rudy's speech and actually I thought it was extremely effective. Every time something smarmy or smug came out of his mouth, I added another $100 to the donation I'm making to Obama's effort. It's a pretty big donation!
