Don't punish the kids for the actions of Sarah Palin and John McCain. Besides we don't even know Levi's role at the convention. Just attending the convention doesn't of itself make him part of the politiking.

It's the Republican attack machine and the party leadership we should be going after relentless--NOT the voting base, who might someday vote for Democrats if they are persuaded to do so. Making fun of them won't persuade them to do so.

The story about the kid was going to come out sooner or later. You can't hide the existence of a human being without breaking the law. And they were going to get married all along, right? Have you noticed that the GOP will call names no matter what, attack no matter what, try to get labels to stick no matter whether there is any truth or not? The salient point then is decency. Is it indecent to make fun of other people? Maybe it is not the most enlightened thing but we are allowed to be human too.
