I guess killing animals for pleasure is OK but human birth control is not OK.
No, not the prospective vp, these neocon trolls who only boost this site higher on the radar.
The only thing cuter? The Ron Paul people. C'mon you adorable little neck-tie anarchists, you're not done wearing him around your avatar's sweet little head are you? This Palin pick is even more pandering than the Biden pick, you could sooo easily get yourselves on the radar, too.
Here's what lilybean had to say about Michelle Obama's speech:
"michelle obama gave a speech, the same old garbage she's been peddling everywhere since her 'angry black woman' moment. Apparently an awful lot of people have really low expectations out there because she regurgitated the poor obama, the victim storyline and you people act as if it was the Gettysburg Address. What did she do so earth shattering? With the bar as low as you Koolaid drinkers have it, Elsie the Cow could give a speech about chewing cud that would have you all swooning."
Let's face it, this is just plain weird. Palin has much less political experience than Geraldine Ferraro had when she was picked by Walter Mondale in 1984 (she had served three terms in congress at that point). We all know what happened to her during the campaign. She has zero presence on the national political stage. A VP candidate should have absolutely not a whiff of scandal, yet she is embroiled in an ethics investigation in Alaska, a state with a record of breathtaking governmental corruption of late (although she is not linked to Stevens or Murkowski).
If McCain wanted a woman as a VP choice, he had numerous experienced Republican women to choose from -- Kay Bailey Hutchinson, Susan Collins, Olympia Snow even Elizabeth Dol, who, like Biden, had actually run for president before (although at 72 perhaps she is a bit too senior).
I thought Pawlenty would have been the strong choice. A popular conservative governor in his second term in a blue state. He might even have helped deliver Minnesota. He would have helped shore up McCain's credibility with the religious right at least as well as Palin.
This does really make you wonder about McCain's judgement. The Republican press are calling this "daring". I call it reckless.
It just struck me that this VP pick is akin to Bush picking Harriet Miers for the Supreme Court. Picking someone just because she is a female.
Desperate times call for desperate measures and boy! is this old man desperate.
Tear her limb from limb with wild beasts.
"The mother of Bristol, Piper, Track, Willow, and Trig." Alas, where is young Spraynerd?

See the math does not lie.
That he's too old shtick aint going to work no more..
This woman is going to rewrite the definition for "lightweight". She's a bimbo.
her bikini pictures for when she was a beauty queen printed.
I wonder if she will do the VP debate in the bathing suit or the evening gown?
Please reread my post. I'm not debating creationism v. evolution. Creationism and ID are the same junk. What I'm saying is 40 of Americans are strict creationists, and 40+% more support ID in some form. So I'm just pouring cold water on those people gloating about a creationist on the ticket. They must have missed the GOP debate where the candidates raised their hands to swear on the infallible words of the Bible.
That's the country we have.
is out of the deck now, too. Since Governor Palin is a former beauty queen.
WTF GOP cheering for Clinton!!! HAHAHAHAHa
She is not a great speaker or maybe it was just nerves, but really it is a gimmick and insulting to so many experienced women.
Is this for real? Maybe this is all a contrived media distraction to steal Obama's thunder from last night's speech. Will Palin withdraw and then we'll see Romney, Ridge, or Liberman take the stage? It's pathetic either way.
This is all about returning the issues to Guns and Abortion and away from the War and the Economy.
By the way, being the mother of a special needs kids does NOT make one a heroine. I am one myself. If she pulls that one out I think there are a million other mothers who have a lot of questions about her views on Health Care and Social Services, once Junior grows up....
only thing is, if the dems have to rely on winning a battle between the experience of the Republican VP candidate and their own PRESIDENTIAL candidate, who really wins here?

________
Palin is to the VP nod as Clarence Thomas was to a SCOTUS nomination.
You had your "true conservative". His name is George W. Bush. He's shown how poorly "true conservatives" govern. Now you want to pretend he wasn't one of you. He showed you to be the fools you are.
"I supported Senator Clinton because I feel that she was the most qualified of the candidates with the experience, the intelligence, the skills, the political know-how and the guts required for the job of president. Having voted for her for Senator, I was well-aware of her ability to deliver in the toughest of times. The fact that she is a woman was icing on the cake."
Palin, on the other hand, is aaaaaaaalllllllllllll icing.
