It's pretty clear that Cindy was working hard on the old man to disinherit her older half-sisters. She is pretty cute. Hard to say what it took, but you wonder. A person would work very hard to get $100 million bucks, and apparently Cindy did whatever it would take to get that money.

Are he and Obama estranged or something? Did he forget to include him in the autobiography? I mean, his dad had a few wives didn't he (more than one at once, correct) so I don't know if its some sort of nefarious overlooking of the other half-white half-sibling (when did he have time to marry about him because he has never met him. Also, its true, the African siblings are certainly "sexier."

Cindy McCain, however, obviously knows her half-sibling. Her ONE half-sibling; its not like she has a whole bunch of them. But I don't think its necessarily fair to bring up air "beef" between family in a public forum. I certainly wouldn't, especially since none of us know the full story and only one person is talking about it (the in-law.)

I don't know, I think its silly for ANYONE to bring up half-siblings (or full-siblings for that matter) as a reason why someone isn't electable. My brothe is still pissed that I pushed him down the stairs when I was 2 and knocked out his front tooth. (he shoulda stopped teasing me.) Despite my violent tendencies as a child, and even some incidents in my early 20s, I am no longer the sort to throw temper tantrums when I don't get my way.

This tribute to determination and will-power is fine until, as time goes by, you find out about the other type of will to which the following applies "Where there's a will there are relations", yeah often very angry relations who've been disinerited for one reason or another.

If I was John McCain's dear old Admiral gradpa, I'd look down from my cloud in the sky -- the one shaped like a battleship, don't you know -- at the wrinkly old white-haired dude who claims to be my grandson, and I'd cast my vote in some other direction. True, the lad was once, although not bright, at least brave and strong and true. I know, I know. Family ties are powerful things. But since John's ambition to become President has claimed his soul, John the good soldier has become John McCain the candidate. It's difficult to be "estranged" from someone you never really knew, isn't it? Barack Obama's father left when the future-senator was but 2 years old. Back in Africa, Obama, Sr. had numerous additional children with subsequent wives. Sen. Obama never met most of these half-siblings until he visited African just before enrolling at Harvard Law (he was, I believe, 27 at the time). He reportedly met his half-brother George, more than 20 years his his junior, one other time after that as well.

Read the article linked to my signature. If George Obama is estranged from anyone, it would seem to be his mother in Africa. He does not sound like someone who is looking for help from a half-brother he essentially doesn't know.
