Florida, Michigan delegations go for Obama

The disputed states, which had voted for Hillary Clinton in primaries that violated primary rules, ended up giving the majority of their votes to Barack Obama.

The letters thread is now closed.

only 1 candidate, and such limited choices ....now

No mention of other possible running hard candidates, so much for 2-party propagandists. Why is there such poor coverage of the small size independent types ? Did we lose them in the glare of big spotlights ?

Because they are less funded, they just cant win over the 2-sewn-together-tightly majority parties at all ...so best to ignore all other voices that may address our real needs? These running candidates who speak clearly & directly to issues the big people slide over and under ?

How can anyone but the big money doners and their minions be even on the fringe and heard/seen ? [those major party-goers, are good *Followers*, who believe every advertising claim and agree with their neighbors without giving most of what is glossily offered a free thought...these are "those" who so easily have learned to *Conform* in all ways, especially the political, most important, one. ]

Where is anything on TV or even media blogs giving some time, if never equal, to Nader or the Green Party ? They are seen as quaint sidelined ignorable misfits. Not enough money, so... no say. Not heard. Not wanted. Not main-street enough ?

Sad sad story of the bought-up-swallowed-down American dream.

Michelle O. repeated the trite story of everyone can be anything,[saying "look at me" ] sure ....does it take a trip to a fancy university and shilling by the local politicos [for their own gains] in Chicago or another closed-to-us-who-chose powerful city ?

Some of us will only vote as a write-in or a Green or anything other than the for-sale stars. And also feel ashamed of having ever believed that truth or protest makes any headway into the wind that blows from any big city, Chgo, Washington, NY, et al.

America, I am not longer a believer in 'freedom for all'. There aint none left, if equality in any way was ever here before.

Chosing a Blacker man is not a move ahead. It is that same sales illusion that we are pretending that 'anyone', even one of the 15% [is it more or less?]of USA groups who angrily shout the most. The face card was a race card, played as if it were not visible. It is not that it is a minority representative as that there is glorification of having allowed one into this scared space as chief. Can this be easily interpreted as 'progress' because of skin color exhibition ?

The Green party McKinney is also darker than the independent Nader, and female too. Yet ignored by most media. How sad.

America is trying to look like equality for all has arrived in terms of skin shades but not gender qualities nor leadership experience & abilities. That is the usual surface sheen, trying to look equal but hiring in more of the same. No hope. No way.

Like who cares?

Give it a rest. Are you trying to imply that Obama actually *won" those states?

What bullshit.

come ON Alex...

If the votes had been counted back THEN, when they were being disputed they would not have been such a wide majority for Obama or they may have even been for Hillary. Just let up on the Hillary hating... let it go. Let. It. Go.
