Arkansas for Obama

The delegation from Clinton's adopted home state, which she won in a landslide in the primaries, gave all its votes to Barack Obama.

Welcome aboard.

Very symbolic

Symbolic of the Obama campaign's desire that Clinton's "historic" achievement in nearly winning the primary be wiped off of the electoral map. I never thought Clinton was going to win the primary at the convention. I hadn't thought she had a chance since super tuesday. But it would have meant a lot to me and to a lot of other of her supporter's to hear our votes acknowledged aloud during the roll call. It's as if my vote didn't count at all - the delegate I elected is simply going to go to Obama. I think I know now how the people felt in Florida in 2000, and in Michigan and Florida this year.
