Ron Paul

Yes, we did the Tour de Whatcom this weekend which is in rural whatcom country in northwest washington, farmers and organic dairy farmers and there were huge Ron Paul signs in their yards, and many of them. When I went home to Montana earlier this summer, same thing, so many Ron Paul giant yard signs everywhere. That and Barack Obama signs. Go Figure!

@Yaqui

I've been wondering if GA could end up being this year's FL/OH. Not only is Barr tugging on the Libertarian right, but McKinney (Green Party) has a die-hard following in Atlanta and outlying areas which would normally go Dem.

The result could be interesting, throwing electoral votes into question and creating an environment ripe for the tinkering.

It won't be the only hotspot in November, but it could be an interesting piece of a disturbing puzzle if things go south.

Local elections in TX

I noticed a short article in the local paper reporting a Republican candidate/official asking Lib candidates to step down to ensure more support for Rs.

Not sure why this person though the Lib candidates would take enough support away from Rs.

Georgia

but isn't Barr running from Georgia? I hear he's quite popular there...couldn't that have an impact?
