    Wesley Clark is Correct

This whole hoopla over Wesley Clark's comments about John McCain's attempt to link his military experience with his presidential qualifications is way overblown. Mika Brzezinski and her ilk need to foment controversy in order to keep the viewing public from switching to "Ice Road Truckers". If memory serves, two of our most popular presidents-Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton-had no more military experience than I do. In fact they both went out of there way to avoid being drafted. If military experience were a criteria for becoming president then we ought to elect nothing but retired generals.

This election, which once held such high promise, is rapidly devolving into the same old garbage; pandering, platitudes and piffle.
