Michelle Obama's Natural Class

I have listened and watched Mrs. Obama speaking to various groups by the magic of C-Span and she is an emotionally socially mature, wise, centered, brilliant, warm, caring woman. Her receptivity to the people who want to speak to her and the children and her attention to them is warm and natural and generous. These morons who feel entitled to mock her are, by comparison, mental midgets. They don't know Salon from Slate and they don't know intelligent from clever and stupid. All the same, the campaign is allowing a lot of people to ventilate their private prejudices and fears and rage and perhaps that's a good thing as far as psychological health goes in the long run. In the long run, there might be some improvement in the social emotional maturity of these careless morons so lacking in ethics and wisdom.

@ Mr. Greenfield

You, sir, are an idiot. Obama was born in Hawaii. He has his birth certificate posted on his website:

http://my.barackobama.com/page/invite/birthcert

Of course, I'm sure you couldn't be bothered to spend 3 seconds typing in "Obama birth certificate" on Google. Probably too busy watching "that muslim's crazy preacher" on youtube...

Blogosphere Boycott

OK bloggers, let's do this. Take three minutes out of each day and watch a commercial segment on Faux News. List every product that is advertised durring that segment.

Now, go to your blog and post that list of products and encourage all your reader to boycott those products.

What if lots and lots of bloggers began doing that? Would advertisers begin pulling out of Faux News (like Bill O'Reily's father should have done with his mother)?

List Faux News advertisers and urge a boycott of their products!!!

ALSO, I vote that from now on ---Cindy Mccain be referred to as John's "Pill-Poppin thing on the side" (just joking) but really, can you imagine Cindy being referred to in such a disrespectful way? Even though she was running around with McCain while his wife and mother of his 3 children was laying at home crippled?

for WylieD

So, where do all of us middle-class folk who cling to our guns and religion go for your so-called unbiased news reports to form our own opinions???? Which news source actually is unbiased? Is it:

A. CNN

B. NBC

C. ABC

D. CBS

E. FOX

F. NONE OF THE ABOVE

Truth is, there isn't one. Fox News tries hard to be fair and balanced, but they do lean to the right a bit. All the rest are left leaning in their reporting. So, I'll standby for your response so you can educate all of us on your unbiased source for news.

Still waiting....(sitting in rage because someone somewhere doesn't agree with my narrow-minded conservative values)

By the way, the majority of the Republican Party is not the far-right ultra conservative Christians you paint them out to be. Just like the majority of the Democrats are not the far-left, anti-American, secular-progressive, utopian pacifists either.

all is fair in the political smear game

All joking and sarcasm aside. I think Fox News made a mistake and they have since apologized for it. I doubt we'll see it happen again on their broadcast. I could write a 30 page blog here about all the distasteful content I've seen on CNN and MSNBC during this election year geared towards Clinton, Bush, McCain....anyone that is not Obama. But the bigger issue seems to be that the left is upset that Michelle Obama is going to be a target for this election. I'm all for 1st admendment rights and I have been defending them for the last 16 years of my military service. However, if you are going to go out in public on record and make political statements or criticize someone else for their political views then you have just opened yourself up to that same critcism. Michelle Obama has been quite vocal during this election year and has said some very controversial things. She put herself out there so she is fair game for the press. That doesn't mean Fox News or anyone else should say she is his "baby's mama", but it does mean the conservative base can analyze, question and/or criticize her comments. If Obama doesn't like it, then keep her out of it....PERIOD! I don't see Cindy McCain making political statements or speeches at John's appearances. The Obama's and all liberals involved either need to develop some thicker skin or stop with the personal attacks and run a clean campaign. There is your challenge. Have the courage to accept it.

An Example of Lack of Respect for a Black Woman

Somehow I don't expect Cindy Mc Cain to be publicly referred to as Mc Cain's "Old Lady"...

I'm going to go ahead and assume that last letter was satire too.

I'll even play along! Yeah, remember when CNN was trashing bush and put up that headline: "Dumb white-trash siterfuckers on Bush: Leave that faux hillbilly cracker WASP alone!"

Good times.

the exception

Fox News definitely flashed the "obama's baby mama" during their broadcast in poor taste. However, being a regular Fox News viewer, I have to say this is very uncharacteristic of them and I'm sure their executives will not let it happen again. That being said, CNN, MSNBC, CBS and ABC over the last 8 years have consistently made extremely vile comments about Bush and every other Republican and slanted their reporting vastly to the left. Keith Olbermann makes outrageous comments on McCain and Bush on almost a daily basis on his show, yet I don't hear any liberals complaining about it like they are about this Obama's baby mama slip. So, you liberals can cry about this all you want but it is your media that crosses this ethical line frequently with little or not remorse whatsoever. Fox News suffered from a temporary moment of liberalism and let themselves stoop to your level, but we've found the liberal culprit and forced them to listen to Ann coulter speeches for the last 12 hours. No worries, only credible, fair and balanced reporting from here on out ;-)

wow.

I'm shocked by the level of faux outrage. Even for a bunch of moonbats you people are insane.

"baby momma" is that much of an insult? I love the one poster who dug way way deep into the meaning, tracing it back to Jamica and all that. Who knew Baby Moma has a rich, deep, cultural history? Who knew that it's ok to refer to yourself as something, but when someone else uses the same word to do the same, it's an insult?

Please, black people, write some sort of Ebonic Rosetta stone, so the we, IGNORANT whites can know how to talk!

The thing that I think is funny, is that you think that this stance will bet Barry elected.
