I thought about Axelrod, and realized this must be a smear from the right and War Room’s youthful posters are regurgitating.
Any appearance, and this truly does seem like just an appearance of impropriety, and the fear of a sea change of voter opinion is facilitated. Perhaps the info was released from the not so far right, who would also benefit.
Regardless, if a dodgy political ad touting an energy rate increase is the worst they can come up with, then let's compare it to being associated with a military junta responsible for humanitarian atrocities. That, I care about. (Did Axelrod write, direct and promote or was he just connected via the firm he worked for? I don't know and I don't think it's great but I'm not going to waste time finding out-there are definitely more important things to consider these days. It doesn't violate the spirit of Obama's message.)
The Puerto Rico guy? Mistake, but let him go, say it was a mistake and tell Puerto Rico their needs will be met by removing lobbyist influence in Washington. My guess is he's not all that evil anyway.
I'm going to move on.
