Laughable. As bad as some of the Illinois Democrats are, they are still head-and-shoulders above the hairballs puked up by the Illinois Repubs in the past few years;
George Ryan - Now in prison for License-for-bribe scandal which directly resulted in the immoliation deaths of 6 children
Jim Ryan - sent the same innocent man to death row on 3 separate occasions and dosen't see anything wrong with that. Hint: the guy was Mexican.
Jack Ryan - Won the 2006 Republican Primary to run against Obama but had to drop out when his divorce papers revealed a penchant for swingers clubs and cocaine.
Judy Barr-Topinka (started life as a man)
Jim Oberweiss - Milk-Mogul and proponent of indentured servitude.

Alan Keyes - Replaced Jack Ryan and was supposed to wrest the "negroe vote" from Obama.
On top of that, the special election for Dennis Hassert's House Seat was just won by a Democrat and the Illinois Repubs have basically given up on taking Richard Durbin's seat.
