Frankly, Obama's stance on Israel
gives me the heebie jeebies. Hell, I WISH Boehner weren't lying here. But you can't win the presidency on an honest-about-Israel platform. I do like Obama, but he's still a Democrat.

The Silly Season Continues
Congressman Boehner has the unblinking stare of an ophidian and the scaly character to match. He represents the most egregious element within the Republican party: half-truth if any at all.
Congressman Boehner would take Obama's statement that "Santa wears a red suit" and bastardize it into "Senator Obama said that Santa is a Communist because he wears a suit that is the color of the Communist Chinese flag."
His parents must have conceived him via anal copulation. Not even the people of his district take him seriously, so, why should we?

I believe that Arlo Guthrie beat Obama to it on the red-suited Commie Santa front.
But really, what could be more Commie than working in a toy-making collective at the North Pole flying around giving presents to all the little girls and boys without expecting anything in return? Ever notice that Santa wears a white beard? He's emulating his idol, Karl Marx.

Yep, this is true. He didn't wish for 1000 more years of bloody conflict. McCain's point was that—from U.S. standpoint—American presence isn't a problem, but active hostilities obviously are.
Of course, Iraq is not Germany or Japan or even South Korea, and who really thinks we're likely to have a both peace and a large presence in Iraq?
Again, the gotcha games do get us away from intelligent discussion/understanding, but even a more level-headed ananlysis doesn't make McCain's horrible ideas any better.

I think Elephantman just attempted the rare double-reverse Twister. Nobody is saying McCain proposed "100 years of war". At issue has always been his suggestion of a hundred-year presence. Big difference. But hey, you are obviously very flexible.

At this point..
Anyone who doesn't come out with full-throated support of Likud and its perpetual wars might have the advantage of appearing sane.
Hopefully Americans, especially "low-information" and lower-middle class families (eg, those who actually serve in the military) are now smart enough to see through Joe LIEberman and his unswerving traitorous fealty to Tel-Aviv.
Hopefully, this will be a way in to start to go after McCain for his association with Hagee, chosen specifically to appeal to American evangelical Zionists.

Ana has consistently shown herself to be supportive of Dems and progressive positions. That makes her an honest GOP-hating Hillary supporter, not like some of the vociferous who really aren't Hillary supporters, just agitators. (We all know who they are.) It's like the saying -- you fight hard with your brothers and sisters when you disagree -- sometimes violently -- but when someone from the outside attacks a brother or sister, the family unites and pummels the interloper.
Time to pummel the GOP.
And Boehner? More like Limper.

Won't play out so very well
It takes too long to explain to someone.
For a TV anchor reading out two quotes and then having to explain the difference is far too much work. If it can't be condensed into something like "Does Obama hate America" then it won't run.
Even the headline "Obama doesn't consider Israel an infection" carries the nasty secondary question.
I don't expect to see much more of this story.
