Clinton backer McGovern now wants her to drop out
George McGovern, the 1972 Democratic presidential nominee, had been supporting Hillary Clinton -- now he thinks she should get out of the race.

    First of all, he should have informed Senator Clinton before making this announcement. Second, he shouldn't be calling Bill. Bill is not running for president. The fact that he informed the former president, Bill Clinton, instead of Hillary Clinton disgusting to me. He is treating Hillary Clinton as a "little lady" rather than a candidate for the presidency.

    Hillary Clinton deserves to be treated as a great many things, but "candidate for the presidency" is no longer one of them.
