  • a little nuget to pass the time.

    Thanks.

  • The music sucks

but I'm down with the sentiment.

  • "This should be the new national anthem"

He said, hoping to get a rise out of the Texas posters.

  • good or bad?

I was hearing someone on the local rap radio station having a serious discussion about Obama in the prime time slot. it was great, ClearChannel sponsored and all!

At the same time (I'm a fan of Sa-Ra too)... maybe I'm just polluting my head too much by frequenting Drudge, but I am concerned that this is a net-negative endorsement.

    Yes, bring in the youth.

Yes, bring in disaffected large swaths of Americans (hip hop culture).

BUT, isn't rap generally too much of a wedge issue for someone who is ostensibly trying to unite (including old and young, urban and rural)?

  • Is there ever such a thing as too many election-themed music videos?

    Yes.

There was a time when music drove cultural change. Now it is just dumbass "Let me on the bandwagon too!" weak and superficial crap.

  • Another video...

Here is a Obama video that should be seen, interesting music and great editing:

    plus, Michael Jordan!

  • Another..

    from the same producer:

Interesting mix of Dreamgirls, Jennifer Hudson and a subtle reprimand of Hillary.

    Joan Baez! Melissa Etheridge!

  • Alex Koppelman is jiggy

    word

  • Yep!

This should help. Disrespecting one's mother. Nice!

  • That shatters one myth

Some feel that Obama's message is esoteric and nuanced and only appeals to intellectual types. I guess this video dispells that myth. The video is about the man, not what he stands for, actually it's more about Tisa than Obama.

  • It's not too bad

...with the sound turned off. Is he saying "throwing it up" - I'm sorry, I mean "throwing it ewwwp"?

Popular "music" has been going downhill ever since the birth of disco.

And you kids get off my lawn!
