Are voters still afraid of "Liberals"?
After they've seen what "Conservatives" do when given control how can voters still be afraid of the Liberal bogeyman?
Seriously, I hope Democrats do a good job of reminding all of those "undecided" voters what the Democrats did in the past compared to Republicans.

The Republicans live for (and live by) these kinds of ads. Why is this a surprise?
I suggest we prepare ourselves for even worse ads in the fall.

Pro-life, conservative and obviously home-schooled. I still can't believe that I was born in Meridian..

Obviously.
From Ayers to Rezko to Wright, besides being an empty suit himself, Barrack Hussein Obama has more skeletons than a graveyard right down to his very name.
Only liberals, the kind who love to lose so they can feel pompously superior to everyone while they think the economy won't affect them, would even have thought of standing behind him.

Obama attack ad
Firt of all I think it is odd that a Democratic candidate for Congress would not want to be endorsed by the likely Democratic nominee for President. What exactly are the voters voting for if they choose to elect a Democratic only if they think he will not work with the President of his own party to get things done? If they fear the Democratics and want to stop them, won't they just vote for the Republican? I also find this ad strange. The overwrought nature is laughable, especially since it revolves around whether or not someone received an endorcement, not on any real issues. I guess it is targeted to what the pollsters call low-information voters. The kind of voter whose thinking process must run something like this: "The economy sucks, the country is screwed up and it is all of the fault of Bush and all of those lousy Republicans that have done anything to fix things. Maybe I'll vote for the Democratic this time and see what happens. Oh wait. That black Democratic guy has a scary Black Preacher who hates America and it thinks the Democratic guy I was going to for is OK? I better vote for the Republican again." Let's hope there aren't too many of those voters out there.

Ah, innuendo, racism, fearmongering and slander. Spoken like a true Conservative.

Obama is screwed
As an Obama supporter, I'm afraid that he is severely screwed. These ads just go to show that. If fellow democrats are saying they don't know him, it's bad. The republicans and the media have made Obama radioactive. Obama has been transformed from the post-racial candidate, to the "radical black" candidate. We can also thank Hillary's campaign for helping that transformation. The so called "low information" voters, aren't going to vote for Obama. All they know about him is that he has a crazy radical preacher, and he went to his church for 20 years. So Obama must subscribe to everything Wright has to say, right? Plus Obama made a huge mistake by saying Rev. Wright was a relevant political issue. So now he has to answer for anything the maniac has to say. Obama couldn't of been more stupid by saying Wright was relevant. No Obama is screwed. The reason the republicans win election after election, is because they kind of tactics work.

So, ShawnWM, what is that WM? WhiteMale?

@Conservativeslayer
So, can we now look forward to you changing your screen name to something wimpy and defeatist? May I suggest "KickMe" or "TakeMyLunchMoney"?

Thanks, ShawnWM
You've highlighted the reasons neanderthal republicans will not vote for Obama. No surprise there: he's a scary black man whose middle name is Hussein. That is the worst thing a republican can say about him that is true, insofar as it goes.
It's a good thing no one tried this during WW2 with the Adolph Coors Company, or there might have been a public uproar.
Anyhow, when you compare those criticisms of Obama with the far more substantial ones one can level against McCain (many of which will resonate with all voters, such as the fact that McCain will be a repeat of the most disastrous presidency of all time), then to me it looks pretty clear that this election is Obama's to lose.

@nyjerk
I'm a realist, Nyjerk. Obama is done. The repugs will hang Wright around his neck, after all Obama says Wright is relevant. It's going to work because the majority of Americans are morons. They will run ads 24/7 with Wright saying "God Damn America", and Obama will lose in a landslide to McSame. Hillary will fare no better. They have even more guilt by association stuff on her. She's married to Bill. Everything Bill ever did, Hillary's going to be called to account for. Everything he ever said, she will have to answer for. After all she's been married to him for 20+ years. Then when you factor in that the media is in the bag for McCain. That McCain can say anything and never be called on it, what do you get? President McCain, that's what. So better get used to saying it, because he's going to be the next president.

Oh buck, up, CS. No one ever said change was going to be easy and that the establishment was just going to meekly stand off to the side and give up power. Of course, if we stand meekly to the side and let them get away with it -- AGAIN -- then we get what we deserve. But I'll tell you this, if Obama wins the nomination and the GE, meaning enough people said screw the relationship with Wright and the other bullshit non-issues, then I'm guaranteeing a Reaganesque 40-state Dem blowout in 2012 and a filibuster-proof Senate -- and then some real change.
Keep the eyes on the prize, CS. You got a chance to do some real conservative slaying here. Don't blink now.
