Voter suppression in North Carolina?
Allegations have been flying about robo-calls supposedly intended to suppress votes for Obama, but the incident appears to be about incompentence, not malice.

    If you're registered you know you're registered, I hope. Otherwise maybe you're too dumb to vote. I got that call and half a dozen other political calls, hung up on all of them. Actually they went to voice mail and I deleted them all after 2 seconds.

    I'm sorry but as an informed electorate you have to claim a little responsibility to know WTF you're supposed to do. Frankly I'm shocked that Salon isn't angry that the calls weren't also in Spanish too !
