A congressional race in Mississippi is the setting for a new attack ad featuring Barack Obama.
  • McCain has a lot more to worry about on this "issue"

The republicans can go down this road at their own peril. Rev. Wright has fully expressed his views on Bill Moyer's Journal and I defy anyone who has watched that interview to label him unpatriotic or a hate monger.

Hagee, on the other hand, had a chance to explain his views and showed that he is nothing but a hate monger who peddles fear and ignorance to achieve his aims.

IMO, let's bring this issue front and center and compare each candidates "spiritual leaders." I think McCain would lose BIG on that one.

Americans are going to have to confront the less admirable characteristics of this country if there is to be any hope in solving the huge issues that face us. Are Americans "evil" and can America do no good? Of course not. That's the standard BS black/white dichotomy that the republicans always throw at us. But if these issues are not discussed in earnest, that perspective is all thats left for a lot of voters.
