    Interesting facts about Rev. Wright:

    1961 - Volunteered for US Marines. (gave up student deferrment at Virginia Union University).

    1963 - Graduated Valedictorian from Corpsman school at Great Lakes Naval Training Center.

    1965 - Graduated Salutarian as a cardiopulmonary technician from National Naval Medical Center.

    1966 - Assigned as part of the medical team charged with care of President Lyndon B. Johnson following his surgery.

    1967 - White House awarded Wright three letters of commendation.
