That white girl from Texas
is one pissed-off bigot.

?
Hey- who knows?
The largest difficulty in this Dem campaign is the complicity of the elected in our unreigned governmental grab bag.
Hardly a one can resist the shady diversions of public money into questionable ventures.
Everybody says Washington.
The old politics.
Special interests.
But no one gets much more specific because they're all tinged by it to some degree.
They don't say this guy, who's a friend of this guy, wrangled a fat unsavory contract to help these guys cash in while nobody was brave or clean enough themselves to blow a whistle on it.
They've, most of them, been so lost for so long in staying afloat in a sick cynical sea of frittering graft, eye averted collusion, i won't call you out if you let me slide on this, and let me in on some of that if we all agree to mum up about it.
Details so rarely appear.
Outrage can't overturn the system.
The Press is mostly bite bath.
The labels sunk too deep.
A catch phrase intimidates objection.
Outsiders have no chance of support.
Cooption controls most aspects of the workings.
Everybody's got something on somebody.
Charades in the shade.
A thousand eager liars.
You can't question.
You rarely can prosecute.
High courts undermine applicable precedents.
Business buries all.
No campaign lists the companies, contracts, costs, arrangers, salesmen, fixers, fatcats, agendas.
Campaign experts advise strict conduct in message.
There are strongly entrenched factions of voter blocs barking on cue at the slightest threat to their intimidation tyranny. Too many are aligned with some opposition which forestalls the unmasking of favored frauds.
It's patriotism.
Pro Life.
Anti Gay.
Anti Poor.
Anti Immigrant.
Anti Reform.
Pro War.
Pro Military.
Pro Patronage.
Anti Media.
Sneering at 'Liberals.' (Substitute 'Progressive' from now on - it's not a poison label yet)
Scandal. (Just Theirs, ours don't count.)
Hard to run an honest campaign and survive.
It's @ 3 minutes to Midnite (not 3 am.)
Clintons rich from the game, will pay play with anyone.
Veteran McCain should be screaming for the Vets and survivors' benefit. Can you hear him?
Most of the White House gang should be on trial, forced to resign, impeached, exiled from influence.
Obama's major trouble is in his advertising. You can say 'special interests' 20,000 times and not gain 1 vote. (Like John Edwards)
If you, or someone, said 'he's a crook and he's a liar and she's obssessed and power addicted and sick and corrupt and her husband was really a Demublican, and they are stealing, ruining, murdering, evading, destroying and evil,' you might get somewhere; if you filled in the names.
Lots of things should change. But lots of the players crouch terrified against it.
That's what this election cycle is really about.
Let's hear some Capra, some can't fool all of the time Lincoln.
Teach it. Impeach it.
Make the Senate work. The House is ready. These people want to stay elected.
Obama has a lot of cards he could play.
He should have humiliated Gibson and Stefanopolous.
That was no debate.
Why didn't he debate them?
They actually are part of his real opponent.
Give em hell, Barak.
No typical.
No cling.
A 6 month fact attack.
You have the microphone.
Force the Press into meaningful coverage. Put a burden of war and waste on them. See if they want a 28 pct approval rating.
Educate, from scratch, the electorate. No other path achieves enough mandate.
Argue.
Fight.
Camelot.
Ballot box. Feint, move, stick, jab, speed bag, roadwork, right cross, left hook, uppercut, knockout.
We'll hold your coat.

ahhh.. the "getting in my face" tactic!
Rarely works in person, NEVER works on the internets. What's next for me? The digital bloody-nose? Can I report you to the web police and file a report?
Additionally, I reject all you assertions and the basis upon which they are founded.
Texans..

oh, the racist retort
No,I am not a racist. but good one. I am tragically hurt and can barely lift my fingers to type. NOT.
I am honest, and if a person or a country is hurting people I will call a spade a spade. We need to drop pretense and look at actions...how about this, if you are hurting people, drop off the planet, if not, you can stay. Wonder who would get to stay under this paradigm?
You are killing me Johnathon, because if anything Obamatons are IN YOUR FACE. LOVE HIM OR DIE. LOVE HIM OR YOU'RE A RACIST. LOVE HIM OR GET THE FUCK OFF THIS PLANET.
Instead of dismissing me or calling me a racist, debate me. Discuss the issues, address my points. If you dare.
Here is one to start with. If Obama is a different kind of politician, one with no ties to the old way of doing business, why is he backed by the two oldest richest political families in America (Kennedy & Rockefeller)?
-
If Obama is so awesome...
Why can't he cure cancer, bowl a 300, pass Dragonforce on Expert in Guitar Hero, create a rock even god couldn't move, and get every single goddamned person in the state of Pennsylvania to vote for him? You kool-aid drinking, latte-sipping, possibly Wyomingian, Obamabamatrons are deluding yourselves, clearly he's toast.

I am so damn glad we don't have a nominee yet.
I am so damn glad we don't have a nominee yet. The last time the Democrats thought we had it locked, we went for "electability".
At least now if we lose, there will be plenty of blame to go either way; this time we can't look at anyone but ourselves. No Florida, no Ohio, no voting machines, no Illuminati. Just the mirror.
I don't know why being able to inspire half the Democratic party through words is a negative - as if politicans have some other weapon with which to work. We want so hard to believe in an uberwo/man - someone who through the sheer force of will can "get things done". Nothing wrong with fantasy, but you can't expect others to always share yours.
Do the math, even with Florida and Michigan nothing fundamentally changes - no one ends up with a majority, the decision will still be made by uberdelegates. All the rest is spin and positioning and I can't blame either side for wanting whatever advantage they can press through spin and mediation.
I read somewhere that if you decided by the facts, by world history, no one could rationally accept the concept of universal human rights. The only way to make it happen is to assert it is the right thing to do, to believe in it. Why we - in our own party - ridicule people who want so hard to believe is beyond me.
Not too long ago we had a nominee that said that the people who played by the rules were getting screwed, so it was up to government to make sure there was a level playing field - and for the government to play by the rules.
At some point in this nominating process, you want the candidates to at least pretend they have ethics, that they believe in something in their past, that winning is NOT everything - and perhaps that sacrifice is the right thing to do.
