An examination of the claims that Barack Obama is extraordinarily supportive of gay rights.
  • Conditionally Equal Almost Rights

"You focus on equal rights first...please fire this jack-ass. He is incapable of writing an intelligent post."-- burlydee

Yes Mr. Genius with a brain the size of a walnut.

Equal rights means all rights regardless of sexual orientation. It is not equal rights based on homophobes picking and choosing which rights are "equal" and which are not.

Equal rights is ZERO, NONE, NADA, discrimination based on race, gender, religion or sexual orientation. Marriage is a LEGAL vehicle that gays should not be EXCLUDED from. If you do not support the right to gay marriage you DO NOT support equal rights for gays.

Any person or politician that supports equal rights but not gay marriage is yanking your chain, including serpent tongued Obama.

BTW, if an Obama cultist disagrees with an article fine, make your point and then STFU. You don't need to yell bias on every fukking article that Salon has ever published on anything political. It's like you're fukkin trained monkees.
