@ ALG2008
The first sentence of your hyperbolic post makes all the rest of it absurd. I don't love Hillary Clinton. As a matter of fact, I don't even like her much. Just as I don't like Obama. They are both just politicians. What's to like?
I am not fool enough to waste my vote by basing it upon either personality or gender. So you just made a fool of yourself.

specifics please
So we're supposed to want a leader who knows how to deal with crisis, right? So tell us, Hillary dear, how you would deal with the crisis that are already upon us. Really. Specifically. Don't scare us with hypotheticals; reality is already upon us. Bin Laden is real. The energy crisis is real. The stagnant economy is real. The health care crisis is real. So what, specifically, are you going to do about it, other than posture and scare us?
How are you going to bring Osama Bin Laden to justice? What will you do differently than George or Obama or John? What are you going to do about the energy crisis? Specifically? Besides scare us into believing that only you have the answers, which you will only reveal upon your election? Are you really ready to bitch slap rich doctors and their insurance proxies into submission, or do you only empathize with the electorate's pain points as required to win an election?
What a sad sorry election this will be. I have no idea what anybody will actually do if I vote for them, other than give me "hope", "experience", or "geritol".

@ cabick
You're right in saying that the Obama campaign is using distrations against Clinton.
I'll be the first to say that it's absurd for the Obama campaign to decry these petty issues while at the same time playing them.
What the Obama campaign wants to distance itself from is Gen. Walter Stewart's specific remarks. Regardless of how hard they fight, neither Democrat should ever cross a line that questions the ability of the other candidate of performing the duties of the Commander-in-Chief. Gen. Stewart's remarks crossed that line and Obama's campaign quickly denounced them. Questioning a fellow Democrat's ability of being C-in-C is different from slinging mud, however hypocritical that mud slinging is.
And it's a far far cry from the candidate herself doing the actual damage to the party's possible nominee.

Hillary's bin Laden Card
Hillary's bin Laden card speaks as much of her desperation to use any hodgepodge of scary images to bolster the death rattle of her campaign. The only thing it does for me is remind me of the phony bravado of her Bosnia claims. Poor Hillary.

Clinton '98 Kenya & Tanzania
The first time I ever heard of Osama bin Laden was when it was reported back in the summer of 1998 that bin Laden's terrorist organization had set off major explosions at two American embassies in Africa - in Naorobia, Kenya and Dar-as-Salam, Tanzania respectively speaking, killing scores of innocent people.
Bill Clinton responed to this terrorits crisis by bombing a sudanees pharmaceuticals factory in Sudan, and by blindly lobbing a bunch of cruise missles into Afghanistan. Neither actions produced any positive results.
But the really amazing thing is that Bill Clinton had two years to hunt down Osama bin Laden, who we would not again become again aquainted with until September the 11th of 2001.
Is this a strong resume of dealing with terrorism? Maybe it is to a dumbass.

they're all politicians, right. interchangeable. Doesn't matter. you don't like 'em don't trust 'em. That worked real well in 2000. Tell me there's nothing that would have changed with Gore in the WH instead of that drooling megalomaniac warmongering fool. god, I can't believe I still retain optimism- I've been kicked in the groin by a long series of pols. But I still believe there are some that can make a difference. Our country is built on that assumption. Sorry you don't share it. Thus, YES WE CAN. You're too sophisticated for that, like The Beaver, LeCastor, way too worldly and wise to be pulled into something larger than yourself. How very, very sad.

Oh, AKA, you are such a (Democratic) Party Pooper!
The primary is great FUN! The electoral process in action!
We get to debate, and fight, and snark at each other.
What isn't wondrous about it?
You don't like Hillary? You don't like Obama? You don't like your fellow posters? Who DO you like?
But in the end, at least I know when I'm being silly! That's my whole point.
So what's YOUR excuse?

Hillary on Iran today on "Good Morning America"
Clinton: "I want the Iranians to know that if I'm the president, we will attack Iran..."
"In the next 10 years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them."
That oblitaration part lends a nice end times touch. Let's irradiate the whole middle east.
I can't believe anybody would vote for this crazy bitch.

You Obamabots Are Whiners
You Obamabots actually think your hero was insulted at the debate. So do a lot of pundits, evidently. Terrible, they said. Demeaning. etc. etc.
But I will tell you this: it is vitally important to know who a man is who wants to be president, and a large part of that question relates to the company he keeps. Wright. Ayers. OK guys whom we rednecks just misunderstand. Your candidate thought it was insulting even to be asked about these things. Not relevent to the issues, he said, as if who this man is -- still very unclear -- were not an issue. Whiny. Petulant. Dishonest, frankly, comparing Ayers to Tom Coburn.
If Obama is nominated there will be hell to pay for all of this.
Of course, you could nominate Hillary . . .

I'm not offended by this ad.
Perhaps this is just my own, personal, gut reaction, but I'm not offended by the use of Bin Laden in this ad. If she had used images of the Twin Towers, as Bush did in 2004, that I would find offensive. This seems pretty mild by comparison.
