More Like the Notorious A.S.S.
@siebecker
nice quotes...would that make him "The Notorious KKK?"
-- jamartinjr
Whatever gets a rise out of folks feeds the troll, and it wouldn't end if Hillary steals the nomination. Drive-by bullshit, 24-7.

Is "Buckwheat" the problem?
I am just taking that as clever. Fifteen years ago, Eddie Murphy used to make fun of Buckwheat. Buckwheat jokes were a fashion for quite a while.

The "debate" moderators are both unpatriotic!
1. Neither moderator wore a flag lapel pin, so they both are unpatriotic and hate America and hate the troops! ABC should fire them for that alone!
2. Why the $@&! do they call it a "debate"???? All the Democratic ones held so far should have been called "C'mon! We want to hear a cheap shot so our pundits can say you're crap!" The Republican ones should have been called "It's gotta be Rudy! Oh, wait! Tell us how Reaganesque you are!"

Why You Should Ignore WES
"The Notorious W.E.S." is a Republican. Anyone so viciously anti-Obama, who has no words of favor for his alleged preference (other than to repeat the weak refrain, "she's more electable"), is without a doubt a crypto-Republican, either in origin or effect, trolling here for outraged responses, posting repeatedly, while either collecting unemployment or shirking at his job.
I'll bet he doesn't even wear a flag pin!

To see the bankruptcy of the Clinton campaign...
...one needs look no further than the posts by Notorious WES, which demonstrate precisely where the Clinton campaign is coming from.
Wes' arguments are about as intellectually bereft as it gets; he's opposed to Obama because (perhaps among other reasons) Wes is racist, as his comments demonstrate; in order to portray his candidate as superior he unfortunately can't say anything about her (because there's not much positive to say and all the same points can be made about Obama) but must instead use Karl Rove's fraudulent talking points against Obama (hanging out with the Weathermen, etc).
In short, watch Wes' posts for a slow-motion depiction of a campaign that has lost its way badly.

This was a surgically precise and pre-meditated hit job.
Combine what you just reported about the flag pin, with Olbermann last night revealing it was Sean Hannity who stuffed in George's mouth the Ayers' question, et VOILA.
BUT WHO's SET THIS PLAYLIST -WHERE'S THE OVERSIGHT AT ABC? IS GIBSON A CLOSET KKK MEMBER? WHAT??
But there are more issues here-
First, wasn't it was pretty decent of Obama not to contest ABC use of Stephanopoulis in this debate??
-A very heavy Clinton advisor and dear friend to the viscious James Carville? The media never mentioned that did they -and Obama surely thought ABC wouldn't play the FOX version of "Fair and Balanced". HOPE can sometimes bite you in the ass - but as the bible says to do -Obama just turned the other cheek.
(He seems to have enough hope -for all of us)
And second, when Stephanopoulis asked that question, he was fully aware -as a Clinton advisor and confidant, that Bill had had a much more serious involvement with the same Weather Underground group because he actually pardoned 2 of the very men that did the bombings and killings. With a heavy background in theology George was more than un-Christian like to edit that out for a more prejudicial impact.
But third and most disgusting was Hillary's feigned 'indignation' at Obama merely sitting on a board with a current College Professor -one formally known as a Weatherman and who was NEVER CONVICTED, and her mentioning "9-11" and "bombings" and "boohoo", "my city".. all in the same sentence, ..just for more of that Sephanopoulis theatrical effect and prejudice.
Not one damn time, in all these years before 9-11 or after, or as First Lady, did that womanever speak up to her husband about those pardons for CONVICTED FELONS or say one word or shed one tear for the New Yorkers killed in the Townhouse bombing. Nor for Pentagon or Capitol bombings.
To now to stoop so low as to using dead New Yorkers only when it suits her self-centered purposes, is breathtakingly shocking.

Utterly superficial
If a person simply can't see how utterly superficial it is to base one's judgement of a candidate or that candidate's patriotism on whether or not they wear a flag pin, then I just don't know what can be done to get through to that person. It's probably hopeless. The tragedy is that there are way too many people out there like that and they have way too much influence on the way our elections turn out.
So many of our politicians flaunt their flag pins and their "patriotic" rhetoric while in the conduct of their daily business they support the policies that have done such incalculable harm to this country over the last seven years. Their actions make it clear that their real love is not for their country but for advancing the economic and political power of their circle.
There are a couple of aspects of this that I find especially troubling:
. The fact that this only seems to be applied to Sen. Obama when the other candidates and the commentators themselves don't always wear flag pins themselves.
. The fact that the commentators KEEP ON bringing it up when it has already been discussed so thoroughly.

the machine wants clinton
the machine doesn't own obama.

Instead of....
...lashing out at the people who get hooked on flag pin issues. How about looking in the mirror and trying to understand why Democrats are so easily labeled as unpatriotic, weak on defense, etc.
Kerry was a war hero who volunteered for service in a brutal, deadly war, won awards of valor and courage and yet he was able to be labeled as cowardly and unpatriotic.
Get you mind around that.
Flag pin, burning the flag, or flag magnets (made in China) issues are all BS, but that is not the issue. The issue is why this BS is so effective against Democrats. Playing the victim card is not an answer.

Jesus WES now you did it.
This is almost as bad as the Buckwheat comment.
You should run for office, I think more people hate YOU now then Hilldog.
According to her strategy if you make yourself despicable enough,
you too can win like Hilldog.
You'll be a senator soon.
Keep the love coming WES, you make my day.
