People in my family have suffered rape and child sexual abuse

You need help AKA and you are not going to get it on Salon letters. If there have been rapes and sexual abuse of children in your family, even if you yourself have not been the victim, you need professional help to confront and to heal.

  • As it happens, madam whatever you pretend to be,

I actually delivered speeches on sexual abuse for a Victim Advocates program that was part of a county attorney's office. I also helped write legislation for an prospective victim's rights law in Arizona.

Your pretenses, including the exaggerated accent with which you began your career here at Salon, are on display for anyone to read. I suggest they begin with the first two pages of your posts. Remember when you enjoyed the fellows' gibes who were calling one poster Kotex? Just charming, you are.

If you are a woman, you are an utter embarassment to women everywhere and looking over you archives, every third post of yours either implies someone is a racist, talks about the inadequacies of white people, or reminds reader that Bill Clinton fucked around. You are here for one purpose and one purpose only and that is to attack Hillary Clinton, as you participation in any thread in which you cannot attack her is minimal. You have no other role other than attack dog on behalf of your fellow Obamabots -- and I do mean fellow. You play slap-ass and kissy-face with the worst sexist trolls of Salon.

You utterly disgust me. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if you were tom payne or some other misogynist. Or maybe you are Thrasher, come back to fight the battle against oh-so-privileged white women.

That you have called me a racist is a complete joke. Better look to your own bad habits.

  • Also, male-identified madam-fuck-other-women-over,

I did not say Hillary Clinton was a rape victim in metaphor without all saying that it is Barack Obama's turn. Learn to read.

  • @ madamfauntleroy

You are also a sickening concern troll. I am professional help, you twit. Go read my many posts at Broadsheet about the help that I have given people.

Your problem is that you hate feminists and don't realize what feminist do for other women.

It is you and Bryan S who have tried to turn this discussion to real rape rather than the metaphor which I intended. Why? Because you like to attack me? Why? For no other reason than that I am a Clinton supporter. You and your ilk want to drive every single Clinton supporter from Salon.

Well you aren't driving me. You and others are not controlling my conversation. I will continue to call sexism when I see it because it has driven this campaign to the detriment of this nation and to the detriment of women -- even those who support Obama.

  • @ madamfauntleroy

You do not even know what a victim advocate is, do you? You don't know what a CASA does.

  • AKA

You utterly disgust me and calling me a twit

I love it when you use my language to you back at me, but so ineffectively. Thank goodness for archived letters, so anyone can see your skills at interpreting posts.

Methinks I was the one who intervened twice I believe, to stop Payne and Manos from using the word Kotex. The posts are there for everyone to see, but you misrepresent again.

About giving speeches, uhmmmmm. You know, I once heard a speech many years ago, by a self styled advocate such as yourself who said there was no such thing as domestic violence and sexual abuse of children in educated middle class families. So much for speech makers.

As for Manos and Payne, yes they do come off rough sometimes, but AKA, I would rather have them over you anytime. They are NOT misogynists nor sexists just because they deflate your overblown balloon every chance they get. They are trying to grow you up little girl. Besides AKA, just because most women support Obama over Hillary does not mean you can defeminize us at will. Your feminism is self serving. Manos and Payne are feminists too. Now that should shock you right out of your tight fitting shoes.

  • @ madam

I once heard a speech many years ago, by a self styled advocate such as yourself who said there was no such thing as domestic violence and sexual abuse of children in educated middle class families.

Well, that wasn't me because that doesn't happen to be true. Years ago? Of course, it was years ago. 1. That was unsubstantiated truism. 2. Even people who once believed that no longer do because research has proven it false. It has been false since the 80s but it takes awhile for people to disregard old information.

  • "Besides AKA, just because most women support Obama over Hillary does not mean you can defeminize us at will."

Bah! How ignorant you are! You are concerned about your femininity? No one is trying to "defeminize" you. Feminist and femininity are not the same. If you are insecure, it is not my problem.

  • AKA

You do not even know what a victim advocate is, do you? You don't know what a CASA does

    Court Appointed Special Advocates?

I know a woman who is an Executive Director in a Center for Drug and Alcohol Addiction. I have seen her plastered so many times, I wonder who is administering help to who.

Here is the point I am trying to make. You can say what you want about yourself. You are still an anonymous name on the web. People will believe or not believe you, based solely on what and how you communicate in writing. To date, you come off as an airhead.

  • "Manos and Payne are feminists too. "

And how the hell would you know? You seem to be quite an interpreter of manos and payne.

I am used to misogynist claiming they are feminists. Happens all the time at Broadsheet and it means nothing. Misogynists claim the label to subvert the meaning of the word "feminist."

  • @ madamfauntleroy

Your opinion of me is not significant to me. What a surprise!

  • AKA

And how the hell would you know? You seem to be quite an interpreter of manos and payne.

This is what happens when you put people in you ignore list. But you are better at bluster than anything meaningful, and we will leave it at that. Payne and Manos take great delight at pricking your little ego.

Defeminze, my bad. I don't think you have a clue on what being a feminist entails. If you haven't heard already, take a look at all the feminists who have endorsed Obama. Now you are going to put them on your list of Not Feminists, just like you do your ignore list.
