Hey! At least he didn't call Osama "bitter"...

Really, isn't it time to flush Republicans like this clown Geoff Davis? They get elected on the same tired old platform and spread hysterical fear and hatred. And the press just eats it up. Osama's not wearing an American flag pin! He insulted prayer and guns! What an elitist Anti-Christ snob! Surely his candidacy is over!

But it's sure OK to call Osama "boy." People like Trent Lott and Dick Armey and Geoff Davis will "apologize" but they don't really mean it--and they're supporters are pathetic enough to snicker along with them quietly. And the press will just shake its head...oh those hell-raisin' Republicans. Aren't they a hoot? Maybe Ann Coulter will say something outrageous about gays or Muslims next!

I've met too many people like Davis here in DC. They're well-dressed, slick hustlers who fit someone's fuzzy notion of what a "leader" should look like. Unfortunately most of them are incompetent bigoted nut-jobs whose only real skills are manipulating the voters and serving special interests.

And so we find ourselves with a huge federal deficit again, two unending wars, a hollowed-out economy filled with terrified debtors who can't afford basics like food and fuel, a tottering financial industry, disappearing civil liberties and an incompetent imperial president, a half-crippled New Orleans and finally an impending global ecological disaster. Feel free to add to the list: it's been a very long 7+ years.

But Geoff Davis is still in DC to wear that pin, pose for his constituents, and encourage hate-filled intolerance. We get the leaders we deserve, folks, and we deserve better than Dubya, Dick and this clown. Save your country. Vote Democrat.
