Remember the Lieberman "hack attack"?

Criminal investigation shows Lieberman campaign was to blame for its own server crash.

The letters thread is now closed.

No surprise; further confirmation of Lieberman's incompetence and dishonesty.

What a dreadful man. That even one person voted for him.

I would add

I'm sure Lieberman will do the right thing, acknowledge his own mistake, express regret to the FBI for requesting an unnecessary and wasteful investigation, and apologize to Lamont supporters for the bogus accusations.

Due to their own ineptitude, the campaign should reimburse the government for the cost of the investigation. It is more than likely the whiny little creep benefited from the publicity surrounding his sorry little "persecuted butt"'s crying and finger wagging exploitation of the servers crash.

hackhahahahaha

Those internet tubes are tricky, joe!

Ned Lamont?

You mean the guy who edged out Joe Lieberman in the Democratic primary and then got crushed (40%) in the general election?

"Independent Joe"

You mean the guy who edged out Joe Lieberman in the Democratic primary and then got crushed (40%) in the general election?

As I understand it, mostly because the Republican party was running an unelectable candidate, so most of the Republicans in the state voted for Independent Joe, a Republican's best Democrat.

Remember when Clinton left office

and he and his staff totally trashed the White House, including vandalizing all the computers and stuff?

Yeah, it was all over the news. But THAT didn't happen either. Why am I getting the feeling that Lieberman's Republican sympathies go much deeper than his stance on the Middle East?

Politicians

We have 100 senators and 435 Representatives. Some are Donkeys and some are Elephants. Lieberman can't decide what kind of an animal he likes.

Oh well, my point really is that these people pass laws that affect the internet.

How many of them have any real knowledge about it? Especially the three senators who want to be president.

Elephant + Donkey =

Sycophant.

No wonder he stands beside McCain

Both men are simply out of touch and heading quickly towards senility. After this incident and after McCains constant blunders, these are two men that SHOULD NOT be answering a phone call at 3:00 am

Lieberman's true colors

Good old Joe once again shows his true colors. I am afraid his true allegiance is not to the voters of his native state, or to the United States. His loyalties are expended elsewhere.

Oh, Waterboard Joe...

I tellya, he's just so whacked. But I doubt his insufferable smugness would let him admit to being wrong, or apologizing. That's not how Waterboard Joe operates.

Oh, and I have to add: Steve Benen, you RULE! I hope you get to stay in War Room, because you're pitch-perfect, getting good scoops and writing them up so well, the right dose of attitude.

Go, you! Viva Steve!

Wednesday, April 9, 2008 09:16 AM

That was my conclusion at the time. :)

Interesting... That's almost exactly what I wrote about in my blog:

http://www.bluestateupdate.com/2006/08/08/164/

This man knows no shame and I'm not a bit surprised that he would stoop to this level.

No..thank Chuck Schumer and Harry Reid.

We all knew who and what Joe was.

But it was Reid and Schumer, at the insistance of the same 'donor' gang who now back Clinton and demand Pelosi submit to their whims - who are solely responsible for not only bringing Lieberman back in, but in effect, crowning him.

One more despicable act by "party insiders" to remember as you cast your caucus or primary votes and in November.

Don't Hold Your Breath, Steve

I'm sure Lieberman will do the right thing, acknowledge his own mistake, express regret to the FBI for requesting an unnecessary and wasteful investigation, and apologize to Lamont supporters for the bogus accusations.

Any minute now.

― Steve Benen

Nah, being Republican (sorry, "independent democrat from Connecticut") means never having to say you're sorry. Just see, Craig, Larry; Vitter, David; Bush, George; etc. etc. etc. etc.

Don't expect reality to intrude in his thought process about this any more than it does about Iraq

After all, the absence of evidence just proves what a good job the Lamont hackers did in covering their tracks.

Violence in Iraq is up: It proves the surge is working because the evil doers are getting more desparate.

Violence in Iraq is down: It proves the surge is working because the evil doers are less effective.

Violene in Iraq is about the same: It proves the surge is working because the evil doers are stalled ina holding pattern.

Steve Benen

The one good thing about the great Blog Report going down is that we get Steve Benen here in the War Room. I was excited to see Koppleman here at first, but then he quickly devolved to cutting and pasting press releases. Hopefully Mr. Benen can bring things back on track (having a minimum of posts which bring about vitriolic Obama vs Clinton letters threads is a good start).

I still miss the Blog Report, though...

JUST AS SOON AS...

he gets his nose out of John McCain's ass.
