Just how "offensive" is the comparison?
Well, let's try an experiment: We'll let a bunch of high-tech Arab invaders take a piece of the US with 30 million people in it and bomb all the highways and power plants, then strangle exports and imports for a decade while they keep bombing, then bomb again until whatever was left or rebuilt is leveled. Then, they can come in to take over, fire all the cops, invite looters to the museums and archives, rewrite the laws (privatizing everything), and alternately arm or kill different factions of the American political and religious mosaic. Finally, they pay the Americans to kill each other, set off a few hundred false-flag attacks for spice, and blame it all on Canadian infiltrators (to be bombed tomorrow). Once these experimental conditions have been established, we can see whether the lively debates between Republicrats and Democans are now waged with RPGs, and how "offensive" the comparison really is.

Quite simply, Lieberman - along with Bush, Cheney, and Adolph Guiliani - is the most indescribably loathsome piece of shit even to crawl out of a toilet and mutate legs.
That about sums it up right there. David-smith, a friend and I have been reading some of your past letters (my particular favorite is the bit about Rumsfeld) and we think you need a blog if you don't already have one. If you do, please let us know where it is because if there was a way to set up an RSS feed of just your letters to Salon here, I'd do it.

Lieberman's unusual take on "the facts"
Let's face it, Lieberman isn't the most honest politician in politics! This guy has a brown nose because he keeps sticking where he believes it will do him the most good! He's probably hoping he'll be selected as a VP to someone but I don't know who in the hell would have him. If he doesn't get his dream to be VP he'll probably be hoping for a Cabinet position. Now for a cabinet position I'd strongly recommend him - the kitchen cabinet in the middle east would be the best place to put him.
