what MICKI is really saying
with all his/her talk about the "gravity" of the Wright flap is that s/he thinks Obama's too black by association. That's the subtext there...s/he can try and gussy it up all s/he wants with the "patriotism" issue, but let's not mince words here...Wright is too black for America and by extension so is Obama.

p.s jamartinjr - I've been getting that vibe too, that Clinton supporters really do want to be able to say "I told you so!" come November. It's weird, you'd think that as Progressives they'd do all they could to disprove the notion that the American electorate is so racist that they'll flat out reject a black man (pardon,a "self-identified black man as AKA smith would put it) as president. You'd think they'd be proud to help change the international opinion of the United States of America as a seething cauldron of race tensions. Guess not. I think this is the end game of identity politics...and it's pretty sad actually.
