I don't think we should stick to the topics at hand, since the topics at hand aren't what's in the news everywhere else.
And that, after all, is what most people will want to discuss. If that's not what Salon wants to report, that's their choice.
And the NYT info RBL references is nothing short of horrifying. If we have to not stick to the topics at hand in order to learn this information, then thanks to Salon for providing a reasonably open forum for us in which to do it.
