Whatever
But if we get bowling on the next bin Laden video, we have to cut our losses.
-
She should be so lucky.
Just sayin'. ;-)

Meanwhile, back in another political reality
Bill Richardson is still going after Carville:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/04/01/AR2008040100885.html?hpid=opinionsbox1&hpid=topnews
A little more relavent, though admittedly less entertaining than the gangsta thug vote or "satire"
-
I'm Gazing In To My Crystal Ball For Richardson
It's hazy but I do see a knee-cap.
-
The eye's plain version
Dolchstosslegende? We've had Hillary ranking Obama below McCain on national security and now declaring that he doesn't want people to vote. The stab in the back is supposed to be conspiratorial, hidden, inferred. This is entirely public. Or did you miss it because you believe it can't, by definition, happen?
-
just plain silly
this thing is just plain silly, maybe stupid. it's not that hillary is f---ing obama, she is f---ing herself. not simply by staying in the race - that's her business and her right - but the way she acts, and the things she says, for example, the bosnia farce, and today's comments that obama is trying to disenfranchise voters. none of this does her or her campaign any credit, in fact, it does the opposite. so the video is wrong-headed if moderately clever. hillary is indeed f---ing herself.
-
Cyrstal Ball
Funny, I always saw you as a Magic 8-ball kind of guy.
-
Fester
Go away. You don't get mad.
-
Dollshtosslegende?
That's patently offensive. You obviously either don't understand the significance of the term or you're really bagging on Obama supporters. This is the same term used to describe the wingnuts who want to say both that FDR compromised with the USSR in Yalta and that the US could have won Vietnam if it weren't for those meddling war protesters.
It's a waaay too loaded term to toss around so lightly.
-
Ok, I looked up your big word
deliberately undermining Obama to set herself up as the favorite for 2012?
Irrespective of the etymology, it sounds like a pretty reasonable hypothesis. First, the economy may well continue in the doldrums 2009-2012, irrespective of who's president. If she faces McCain this November, her platitudes about experience vis-a-viz Obama will make her look foolish because McC's clearly far more experienced, and presently they're equally responsible for the Iraq war in most voters' eyes, having both voted to authorize it in 2002.
But if she faces an incumbent McCain in 2012, it'll be his war, and instead of being more experienced he'll just be a really old guy.
-
And your point is . . .
. . . Koppelman?
Are you going to blog about every single slanderous and smearing video posted on YouTube against Hillary Clinton? Good luck with that, it will certainly become the only thing you will write about from now on.
Hillary is not fucking Obama. Rezko is, Wright is, Rev. James T. Meek is, Michelle certainly is, in every conceivable way, but who cares, since now War Room is a video critic and reporting blog.
This is beyond stupid, . . . both the video and the coverage.
-
Even Fester
reaches for that low-hanging fruit now and then
-
Ok I get it
Obama and supporters are already lining up the excuses.
Excuse #1 It's Clintons fault.
Excuse #2 Bowling is a racist white mans sport.
Excuse #3 It's Clintons fault.
-
Paint it however you want with your box full of brushes
Hillary fucks up everything that she touches.
-
Yuck
I can't bring myself to watch. I know it's April 1, but could we have some real content here for the rest of the day?
-
Spare a thought for the stay-at-home voters
Their empty eyes gaze at strange beauty shows
And a parade of the gray suited grafters
A choice of cancer or polio.
-
I'm starting to enjoy myself
what with the bowling jokes and this video. C'mon, SobeOne, lighten up. This is funny stuff.
-
I've had it
Politico is free, and they cover actual NEWS.
Salon is becoming a third-rate cutesy, snarky rag leaning on long quotes (if its long it must be good, right?), old material from other (free) blogs that cover stuff the day it actually happens, and, of course, second rate youtube content.
-
this is ridiculous
i didn't want to pile on poor koppelman here, but i'm really seriously missing tim grieve right now. i agree with what others are saying. i've been reading this blog for years because of insight and analysis, not funny videos. what's next, a dog riding a skateboard?
i never thought War Room would be so similar to the American electorate: shallow and easily distracted by "entertaining" ephemera.
anyone else considering giving up on war room yet?
-
Actually the fucking part . . .
. . . is kind of funny if you can stomach the bad taste but the rest is pretty offensive. Apparently these days you have to be black to be able to be offended. Well I claim the same right for this latino boy here.
I am offended by the implications, I am offended by War Room publishing it.
-
SobeOne
Is this your first time to the War Room?
Everyone gets offended here. People here have the thinnest skins and will cry about anyhting. Of course they are always on the lookout for new things to get offended by.
You're doing just fine. Just try to fan yourself more next time. It really conveys the righteous indignation.
Best of luck!
-
Gone downhill
how2know924, I'm all for a bit of levity now and again, but I agree. War Room is less interesting and useful than it once was. Where it was once "must read" material, I now skim it quickly to see if there is anything of substance. I still check daily, but I get much less out of it.

Grieve sighting
With my apologies to the current establishment.
LOOKAHEAD: Gen. David Petraeus, the U.S. commander in Iraq, and U.S. Ambassador to Iraq Ryan Crocker testify on the Senate side a week from today, and the House side a week from tomorrow. Democrats this week will use hearings and media hits to try to change the focus from SUCCESS OR FAILURE OF THE SURGE to COSTS and WHETHER THE WAR MADE US SAFER.

Clinton: "I'm Rocky Balboa."
Uh-huh, and I pity the fool.
-
Nice catch Fester
Thanks for the Grieve sighting. Looks like he's continuing to do good work over at Politico.
-
Jesus people
Don't be such wimps. It's a clever video, that's all.
It reminds me of this:

@ gezelligtexas
Actually, I am kind of a veteran here. I don't think I have felt offended before but stupidity is very offensive and both the video and its propagation here are very stupid.
So, you see gezelligtexas, this is not my first time here, but may very well be among the last ones.
The Silvermann and Kimmel videos were hilarious though.
