    would benefit more from resolving this issue before the convention than they would from dragging this out for 4.5 months. Overall, they need to hammer home a united message that McCain is simply a 3rd term for Bush. The sooner the get on that message, the better.

    Not that a brokered convention would be the end of the world, but they are burning daylight. It really doesn't surprise me that we are in this place after 8 years of Bush. It reflects how radically his behavior has affected Americans. I believe that a lot of the intra-party anger is a reflection of just how outraged we are about the current administration and how passionately we want to change it. Both Clinton and Obama advocates. Change is painful and we are in the midst of that pain.
