Perhaps Clinton
Should Rove elsewhere. Her own record is ripening like a stale old cheese.

You Could Say.....
...that Obama should not attend any church unless he is in lock-step agreement with every single word his pastor utters.
...that Obama is perfectly capable of listening to people he disagrees with without rejecting them out of hand.
...that Obama clearly should have thrown Wright under the bus--maybe even years ago-- and that he should trample over ANYONE who gets in the way of his campaign or ever utters a politically incorrect statement.
....that Obama is capable of compassion, humanity, and loyalty towards his former pastor, even while finding Wright weirdly stuck in a time warp.
...that Obama wouldn't dare alienate the black vote by disowning Wright.
...that Obama is too weak to turn his back on an old friend, even when it would be politically expedient; that he lacks the "killer instinct" necessary to win.
....that the American public is smart enough to know that you can't hold a candidate personally responsible for everything that comes out of his/her followers' mouths.
...that the American public is hysterical enough to freak out at hearing "God Damn America" and there is no way way Obama can win the general election.
....that every candidate's pastors, ministers, and mentors all need to be vetted now; the hell with separation of church and state.
...that Obama didn't lie or deny an unpleasant truth. He faced it head-on and dealt with it truthfully.
You COULD say that perhaps the majority of Americans find that kind of honesty and loyalty admirable.
I'm just sayin'.

Poll skewed
This WSJ poll was so poorly designed that any reputable statistician would simply throw it out. However, here's another poll that's pretty interesting - re conservatives & independents who will vote McCain if their preferred Demo candidate doesn't win the nomination (Clinton comes out way ahead on this one):

The full monte
Yep, you're a full Clinton troll.
"Conservative 527 groups will go after Obama on patriotism and for having the most liberal voting record of any Senator."
More liberal than Russ Feingold? More liberal than Bernie Sanders? More liberal than Ted Kennedy?
How about a huge lie made up to attract weak-minded morons?
-
I think
That we should establish a national political correctness criteria perameter for all American pastors.
-
@KateTex
I agree that some Clinton supporters will vote for McCain. I put it at between 2-3 %.
Clinton supporters are pro-choice. McCain is pro-life. His election will end legal abortion with the next SC seat.
Clinton supporters are anti-war. McCain is pro-war. His election will keep us in Iraq for 100 years, and we will be in Tehran by 2010.
Clinton supporters are not supporters of Bush's tax cuts. McCain is pro-Bush tax cuts. His election will keep the tax cuts.
The Clinton supporters are mad. They will sober up and vote Democratic. They will come home, for choice, Iraq and tax issues.

KateTex & Sen McCarthy
Could head the commitee.

Hillary owns up, when will Obama?
Hillary Clinton owned up to her mistake regarding Bosnia, which let's face it, is tantamount to exaggerating on a resume. She is now paying the price with a drop in the polls which I would argue is temporary.
Obama is still trying to have it both ways with Rev. "god damn america" Wright. He disagrees with what the good reverend has said on several occasions (the white church is satan, the government created AIDS, america is responsible for 911, etc.) but not enough to leave his church evidently.
Democrats may not think it's an issue but Independents and Republicans do.
Since Obama refuses to quit that church, this will remain a potent weapon for the right wing.

Mother of GAWD
"Obama is still trying to have it both ways with Rev. "god damn america" Wright. He disagrees with what the good reverend has said on several occasions (the white church is satan, the government created AIDS, america is responsible for 911, etc.) but not enough to leave his church evidently."
He already talked about Wright.
You don't seem very bright. Did you know that Wright is no longer at that church?

@sonofloud
Why do you give less than a fuck about mouthbreathing idiots that wouldn't vote for a Democrat ever under any circumstances?
Again, eff 'em, the more rightward a Democrat goes to coddle the idjit vote, the worse they do in the GE. Fuck 'em, cut them loose.
-
son of loud
Isn't the brightest bulb in the box, but would you be if your main preoccupation were shouting your head off over the voices of common sense?
-
@Villemar
You say: "The more rightward a Democrat goes to coddle the idjit vote, the worse they do in the GE. Fuck 'em, cut them loose"
You've got this exactly backwards and your concluding sentiment is exactly the sort of elitist nonsense which causes Democrats to lose election after election after election.
-
the polls are lying
These "polls" have been unreliable since Iowa. Everyone needs to calm down. If your brackets aren't going well and the "polls" aren't in your candidates favor today or lan ;hour ago, it's okay. Pull out your favorite book, re read it then come back in a few days.

I wish I was Black
I'd be running for mayor or teaching 'race law' somewhere.
-
Quite the opposite KateTex
It is rather those like yourself who harm democrats in election. Those who support intransigent lame ducks.
-
Totally of topic
Gov. Don Siegelman bailed by the 11th circuit court of appeals -- they smell a rat in his conviction -- Judge Fuller is in the shit, Rove in deeper shit, This is big!
-
Woo Hoo!!!
Thank goodness that it finally appears that some Americans have got some sense. I truly believe that Obama is going to go all the way. Hillary better stay up late into the wee hours and dig deep in her bag of tricks to come up with something to stump Monsieur Obama. Same goes for the Republicans.
Go OBAMA - All the way to the White House!!

Skewering Poll Cats
This WSJ poll was so poorly designed that any reputable statistician would simply throw it out.
And what, pray tell, are the defects of yon poll? The WSJ is highly respected, at least pre-Murdoch, even if one finds the editorial board a little to the right of ones taste? It's not their first poll.
That's a bold claim, so youse needs to back it up. While you're at it, please explain why the poll you like has a sounder approach and methodology.
