I hear the sound of "President McCain," more clearly and disctinctly, by the day.
They have medication for that now. I suggest you see a good psychologist.

Re: JSumm
No worries, mate. We got a ways to go before the election. Obama has slipped a bit due to the vetting by Clinton, (See previous posts for my thoughts on that.) but when people realize that it's John Freaking McCain, those votes will start to turn around.
Actually there's quite a bit of good news in this poll. If things stay constant (big if, naturally) a Democrat could win Virginia for the first time since 1964. Iowa is in the Democratic camp, too. As of February Obama was within one point of McCain in Texas!
Take it all with a big grain of salt, but I think Obama's stellar campaign organization will win back some of the states that are on the fence and make some key gains in states that have long been thought to be Republican strongholds. (Seriously... North Dakota?! I know, small state, but every gain counts.)
Sorry if no one else wants to analyze this any further (particularly after I said it doesn't mean much), but any clues what's going on in Massachussetts. There's some odd gaffes in our northeastern block that I think might be worth analyzing. New Jersey, I get, as there are some fairly rural, Republican areas that can balance out the solid Democrat urban areas. New Hampshire loves McCain so I see where that's going on. But Mass.? Endorsements from Patrick, Kennedy, Kerry, solid progressive reputation, and yet polls are decidely mixed. What's the deal? I know Boston has had some racism issues in the past, but is that enough to turn the state? Anyone with some Mass. history have some ideas?
And before the Clinton folks start beating me upside the head with talking points, please note that Obama is set to take Clinton's state of New York by anywhere between 8 and 13 points.)

Media Twist Is'nt Clinton's Pastor in the White House?
When I posted the comment on Alex' K 's Blog, the suggestion was ,Al Gore would come forth and endorse Bara Obama in an effort to end this long drawn out Demo Nomination fiasco.
Brilliant Joe Klein, or is he, would twist the story to obsurdly suggest that the Democratic Party would disenfranchise the Voters by placing Al Gore on the Ticket.
I observed how quickly the Media aired this redundant idea.
The Media, in desperation, has revealed its level of Integrity in responding to this moron, Joe Klein.
Katharine, see if you can convince the brillient Joe Klien to get the Media to Investigate the Ideas of Sen Clinton and Sen McCain's Pastor or Pastors if different, for Public scrutny. People want to know. Barak Obama's has already been scrutinized.

Joe Klien Not Original, Idea Taken From My Post To Salon
Floks,
I am guilty for creating a dialog about Al Gore. I thought his prominence within the Party was respected enough to trust his judgement to endorse Borak Obama and end this Nomination nonesense, See Article Below:
Where Is The Unseated Real President, Al Gore?
[Read the article: The Democrats' anti-momentum]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]
I wonder when President Al Gore is goin to come out and endorse Barak Obama? The World realises that Bush/Cheney are Imitators. Any objective thinker in America and other Nations recognises that Barak Obama is the most suited for the next President Of the United States.
Mrs. Clinton's and the Establishment Media'S tactics to prolong this Nomination has unveiled so much about the Evil Intent Of The Heart. McCain is the Power Broker's choice. The Clintons are merely intermediaries to that objective.
Non of the Establishment expected Barak Obama to get pass Super Tuesday. This is why Hillary must prolong this Nomination. Look closely at here Spirit.
Let's face it. " This Nation and the World need the Fresh New Ideas of A New Generation to Govern us. "Bush/Cheney has only expedited the Urgency.
Mr. Gore, I summon you to appear as the Voice of Change to endorse Mr Obama and move the Party forward. The Media has hindered progress long enough.

Then there was Fantasy Football.
Now there are Fantasy Elections.
Not that they haven't been around for a very, very long time.
Must be the Prozac.

You know, not even Bush would say something as stupid as that
Even in Bush drug policy there is not the tiniest bit of support for the idea of making America literally drug free.
People don't seem to understand that Gore was willing to jump up and down on the stage and pump his fist in the air for an idea that even the neocons have rejected as unrealistic.
When a leading Democrat is enthusiastically advocating a plan to escalate the Drug War beyond all reason and proportion, in the name of a utopian ideal that even the neocons reject as unrealistic -- this is very bad news.
If Gore ends up the nominee and he fails to retract this idiot idea that he stood behind so enthusiastically in the 2000 convention
then I PROMISE that I WILL NOT VOTE AT ALL in 2008.
The nice thing about Obama is that you'll never hear idiotic crap like that from him.
I was enjoying this campaign for the most part until the prospect of Al Gore reared its ugly head.
The man would have to turn the country literally into one giant prison to even get close to accomplishing his dream.
Imagine how much wiretapping would be necessary to do that.
I spent a horrible year trying to keep my house alcohol-free while an alcoholic was living with me.
I found myself turning into fascist during that miserable period and I did not like that feeling at all.
That's what Al Gore wants for America?
If he doesn't explicitly disavow this "drug free America" crap, then no way can I ever vote for him for anything.
He wants a fascist America if he wants a drug free America.
How can a Democrat raise his fist to fascism without any other Democrats complaining?
It's scary.
He should stick to global warming and stay out of drug policy completely.
