Alex, Did You Participate in This Twist With Joe Klien

Alex, when I posted my comment on your Blog, I trusted you had a degree of Integrity. Search your Archives for verification.

My suggestion was that President Al Gore would endorse Senator Barak Obama in an effort to end this prolonged race for the Democratic Nomination. Of course all know that Bush/Cheney are Imatators. Hillary Clinton can't win.

At any rate, I was surprised to see the MSM reporting on Joe Klien's brilliant Idea. It was never intended to suggest that Senator Obama consider Mr Gore as a running mate let alone a Gore/Obama Ticket. Why would Mr. Obama consider taking a second seat to anyone?

Does anyone else see the Desparation in the Media?

Gore-Obama ticket

"is this scenario any more preposterous than the one that gave John McCain the Republican nomination?"

YES - far more preposterous. Obama-Gore, on the other hand, has some attractive features.

@johncp Mothers Milk Illegal for Corporations to contribute to Campaigns

Those numbers you quoted are probably from the employees, not the corporation itself. It's illegal for corporations to contribute to campaigns. Anyone interested in the details of the funding of any of the candidates should go to opensecrets.org for starters.

Corporate and Union Activity

Although corporations and labor organizations may not make contributions or expenditures in connection with federal elections, they may establish PACs. Corporate and labor PACs raise voluntary contributions from a restricted class of individuals and use those funds to support federal candidates and political committees.

By the way

I guess nobody wants to hear about what a nightmare it was trying to keep an alcohol-free house while an alcohol addict was living with me.

I was finding vodka bottles stashed in my rose bushes for months after I got her to move out.

Al Gore cannot have my vote unless he disavows his threat during the 2000 convention to force the entire country endure this same kind of madness over drugs.

Friday, March 28, 2008 09:03 AM

You know, not even Bush would say something as stupid as that

Even in Bush drug policy there is not the tiniest bit of support for the idea of making America literally drug free.

People don't seem to understand that Gore was willing to jump up and down on the stage and pump his fist in the air for an idea that even the neocons have rejected as unrealistic.

When a leading Democrat is enthusiastically advocating a plan to escalate the Drug War beyond all reason and proportion, in the name of a utopian ideal that even the neocons reject as unrealistic -- this is very bad news.

If Gore ends up the nominee and he fails to retract this idiot idea that he stood behind so enthusiastically in the 2000 convention

then I PROMISE that I WILL NOT VOTE AT ALL in 2008.

The nice thing about Obama is that you'll never hear idiotic crap like that from him.

I was enjoying this campaign for the most part until the prospect of Al Gore reared its ugly head.

The man would have to turn the country literally into one giant prison to even get close to accomplishing his dream.

Imagine how much wiretapping would be necessary to do that.

I spent a horrible year trying to keep my house alcohol-free while an alcoholic was living with me.

I found myself turning into fascist during that miserable period and I did not like that feeling at all.

That's what Al Gore wants for America?

If he doesn't explicitly disavow this "drug free America" crap, then no way can I ever vote for him for anything.

He wants a fascist America if he wants a drug free America.

How can a Democrat raise his fist to fascism without any other Democrats complaining?

It's scary.

He should stick to global warming and stay out of drug policy completely.

First there was Dungeons and Dragons

Then there was Fantasy Football.

Now there are Fantasy Elections.

Not that they haven't been around for a very, very long time.

Must be the Prozac.

Joe Klien Not Original, Idea Taken From My Post To Salon

Floks,

I am guilty for creating a dialog about Al Gore. I thought his prominence within the Party was respected enough to trust his judgement to endorse Borak Obama and end this Nomination nonesense, See Article Below:

Where Is The Unseated Real President, Al Gore?

[Read the article: The Democrats' anti-momentum]

[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I wonder when President Al Gore is goin to come out and endorse Barak Obama? The World realises that Bush/Cheney are Imitators. Any objective thinker in America and other Nations recognises that Barak Obama is the most suited for the next President Of the United States.

Mrs. Clinton's and the Establishment Media'S tactics to prolong this Nomination has unveiled so much about the Evil Intent Of The Heart. McCain is the Power Broker's choice. The Clintons are merely intermediaries to that objective.

Non of the Establishment expected Barak Obama to get pass Super Tuesday. This is why Hillary must prolong this Nomination. Look closely at here Spirit.

Let's face it. " This Nation and the World need the Fresh New Ideas of A New Generation to Govern us. "Bush/Cheney has only expedited the Urgency.

Mr. Gore, I summon you to appear as the Voice of Change to endorse Mr Obama and move the Party forward. The Media has hindered progress long enough.

The idiot Joe Klien twisted the Idea. Joe I'll be watching you.

Media Twist Is'nt Clinton's Pastor in the White House?

When I posted the comment on Alex' K 's Blog, the suggestion was ,Al Gore would come forth and endorse Bara Obama in an effort to end this long drawn out Demo Nomination fiasco.

Brilliant Joe Klein, or is he, would twist the story to obsurdly suggest that the Democratic Party would disenfranchise the Voters by placing Al Gore on the Ticket.

I observed how quickly the Media aired this redundant idea.

The Media, in desperation, has revealed its level of Integrity in responding to this moron, Joe Klein.

Katharine, see if you can convince the brillient Joe Klien to get the Media to Investigate the Ideas of Sen Clinton and Sen McCain's Pastor or Pastors if different, for Public scrutny. People want to know. Barak Obama's has already been scrutinized.
