Somewhat OT, but well worth reading
Speaking of issues of fairness: Joseph C. Wilson has written a rather passionate but extremely well reasoned analysis of the latest round of strategic Obama camp attacks on the Clintons. These rather unsavory attacks, as Wilson cogently outlines, served to deflect attention from Obama's weak policy cred and also from the exploding Wright flap. So far, Wilson's analysis has been carried only by Huffington Post and Taylor Marsh. Hopefully, it will get the far wider coverage it deserves. Here's the link to Wilson's message:

I'm confused
What, exactly, was voted unconstitutional? I can't really understand this posting.

Welcome to Salon.
You'll note we begin all our comments sections on any issue regardng the election with an immediate post by a purported Hillary supporter. Exactly like Hillary's campaign, this post will always contain lies in general and insults in particular to Senator Obama and his supporters.
As you read along, you'll note the same two or three names popping up constantly on every page. These commenters also all claim to support Hillary, although one claims to just mostly hate Obama supporters because (seriously) they're excited about their candidate (I swear I'm not making that up). You'll note that they have nothing to say. This is exactly the point of their posts, which are meant solely to be insulting.
As you finish the first page or two of comments, you'll be asking yourself exactly what the point of all this is. Don't worry -- nobody else knows either. Congratulations! Now you're in the same boat with the rest of us.
Enjoy your reading!

@Kansas
Ah, I see you've mastered the Obama M.O. wonderfully: deflect any and all less than flattering information about the candidate by trying to change the subject, preferably by shooting the messenger, a nefarious creature who deals only in slander and vicious lies. This will hopefully prevent said information from receiving the attention it deserves, thereby aiding the cause of The Candidate Who Cannot Bear the Light Of Day.
I swear, the day of the samizdat never really ended. It's simply become transoceanic.

The Candidate Who Cannot Bear the Light Of Day
But can he perform an "evasive maneuver" while under fire from snipers? That is the real test of the toughness I seek in a president.
-
So, abe
Did you read Wilson's analysis? I believe that was the point of my posting the link to it.

KotTexaco Plods Backward
No, Kate, Obama did not create the rules in Michigan. Or Florida. He took his name off the ballot in Michigan, as every honorable candidate did. That left Billary. After the last 20 celibate years with Big Bill, ol' Hill has forgotten the sensation, and thinks she's getting screwed. No, Kate, no, Hill, the states are big boys and girls and make decisions and live with the consequences. Boo fookin' hoo. Losers.

It IS unconstitutional. NOBODY SHOULD BE DEPRIVED OF THEIR VOTE.
It ain't Hillary trying to shut out voters by the millions and shut the store down early becasue someone's gaining on her.
And NOBODY should let the self-entitled turds of Obamateur's and the religious right and Republican country-clubbers let them get stripped of their right to vote in this election either.
whatever name calling Obama and his repulsive supporters can dish out but can't take in is NOTHING compared to what the people have been through the past seven years and it s NOTHING like what they will be going through when McCain sweeps the floor with Nobama.

Michhigan primary law ruled unconssitutional
I think what is unconstitutional is the poorest state in the US took the time to vote and not counting those votes is whats unconstitutional. I would like to add FL to the mix. Both these states went to vote and I think the DNC BETTER find a way to make these states part pf the process. We all know what happens when voters are disenfranchised. I do not look forward to dealing with this debacle again. Howard Dean needs to step up to the plate and do his job. He has an obligation to see that every delegate gets seated at the convention or count the two states as it happened. Either way Dean owes it to the Democratic candidates.

@KateTex
I read Wilson's post, but I wouldn't call it an "analysis". It seemed a lot like much of the other pro-Hillary stuff that is in plentiful supply lately.
One thing that turned me off in Wilson's words was the significance he gave to Rev Wright. I know many people who say both insightful and silly things. I try to pick out the useful insights and discard the nonsense. I believe that most humans get fairly good at this by the time they leave their parents' homes, and it doesn't take a lot of faith to believe that Obama might have also learned this skill.
The constant harping on Rev Wright's words leads me to believe that Obama's detractors have a shortage of more meaningful things to discuss.

to heyjude
You had to link into the Detroit News link:
U.S. District Judge Nancy Edmunds agreed with the American Civil Liberties Union, arguing on behalf of several small political parties, that the law's provision giving the list of voters' partisan preference only to the Democratic and Republican parties violated the rights of other parties.
Michigan Democratic Party Chairman Mark Brewer said the ruling may have ended any chances of a new Democratic election to resolve the ongoing dispute over the state's delegation to the Democratic National Convention. The state party, he said, needs the list to ensure that no one who voted in the Republican primary in January votes in any new Democratic contest, as required under the national party's rules.

Howard Dean needs to step up and do his job?
LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL.
The best I can tell about all Dean has done besides bankrupt the DNC and pissing off Lieberman to the point where he's campaigning for another party, is give a few speeches to the lefties and try to take credit for Schumer and Rahm's retake of Congress in 2006 with that nonsense about his "50 state" "strategy".
Not suprisingly you don't hear a lot about that anymore. So I guess Dean won't be converting Tennessee and Wyoming to Democratic AFTER ALL.
