I have to wonder
just how many "minions" Rush Limbaugh actually has and if they are actually smart enough to follow his instructions without fucking them up.

shawnie the limbaught
racist screeds his speciality, shawn, well into his twelve pack of butt lite for the afternoon, is as ineffective a liar as you can find infesting Salon. Hey, he's a free trip to Freak republik, the home of people who at least have the guts to say that they're racist trailer trash. Shawnie is more about butts than guts, and more about sheep than people- especially since his "social life" involves close encounters of the barnyard kind with his wooly quadraped "dates". Baaaa.

Another fake meme - Repubs voting Clinton
Way back in the dawn of time, there was a movement across the board for Republicans to vote in the Democratic Primary. They were supposed to vote for Obama in order to reduce Clinton's chances of becoming President. I know first hand of a group of women who did this. This was widely ignored by the media.
Fast forward a couple of months. Now, Rush Limbaugh is telling his listeners to vote for Clinton because he wants to extend the pain of the Democratic primary. This is a big story. In both cases, the story is being spun to the advantage of Obama and against Clinton.
If Republicans vote against Clinton, it's bad for her because they like Obama. If they vote for Clinton, it's bad for her because they are only doing it to extend the primary. Is there a way for Clinton to get media spin in her favor?

Must be a Sign of:
1) Obama's popularity;
2) Clinton's popularity;
3) the Democratic Party's popularity; and/or
4) Repulican deviousness.
Glad we got that settled.

"Yes, surely not. But reasoned people would consider the electoral map and the states won and lost by Gore through Kerry rather than hanging on a wind and a prayer against all science."
The states that were won by Kerry and Gore are, by and large, states that Democrats have been winning in every presidential election since 1992.
All a candidate has to do to become president is get five more electoral votes than Al Gore did. Al Gore could have won if he had carried West Virginia!
Fun Trivia fact: Gore won all of the primary and caucus states that Clinton has (by much larger margins) and still lost the electoral college. Kerry won all of the primary and caucus states that Clinton has except Oklahoma (by much larger margins) and still lost the electoral college. In both cases, Gore and Kerry swept through all the primaries, winning far more states by bigger margins than Clinton did and neither became president.

Well Shawn
Unlike you, I never claim to be the mouthpiece speaking for a vast majority. Speaking for myself is badass enough for me. I don't have to hide behind anyone. One day you claim Obama supporters are fruitloop far lefters, the next that they are all Republicans. That tends to detract from your credibility. If you toned down the bullshit that you speak on behalf of millions, people might actually listen to what you have to say.
And can't you tell that different people are posting based on their use of the English language?

heard it on the radio
I was en route with someone to a meeting today -- driver had Limbaugh on the radio. He and callers-in were gloating over the "Chaos Project" they were pushing to get as many Republicans as possible to vote for Hillary Clinton. He talked at length to one caller who said he had not only voted for Hillary in Texas with a lot of his friends, but they had gone on to caucus for her, and he had been elected a delegate and now might be going to the convention in Denver. He was gleeful at the idea of being a "mole" at the convention.
Limbaugh was exhorting people for the entire 30 minutes we were in the car (and didn't sound like he was winding down when we mercifully arrived at our destination)to get out there and vote for Hillary to assure a McCain victory in November. Seriously, I am NOT making this up. I was shocked at how many callers were calling to report they had been doing this and how open they all were about it.

picko v numb nuts
Don't confuse shawnie boy with facts. his handlers have given him a one dimensional "message" to regurgitate in one slimy vomitous post after another. The primary point of the Obama campaign is to get the hell off the tracks of '00 and '04 and lose the whole red/blue meme and run for President of the United States. This pisses Billary off no end; the nomination belonged to her, and she'll stomp her tiny privileged feet with her lumpy legs until her widdle princess ankels snap, or the democratic party disintegrates, whichever comes first. Neither she nor shawn the loser pawn cares a whit. ask 'em.
-
Huh??
1. I never said I would vote for McCain. I said I wouldn't vote for Barrack Obama. Not now. His campaign rushing out to register Republicans to vote for him KNOWING they won't in November was just the last straw for me.
2. I never said that the Clinton's were "entitled" to the black vote. Neither did they.
I simply ask people to be intelligent enough to know which side of the bread their butter is on.
You have a white person that has a long history and commitments to policies which benefit the poor -which like it or not affects a disproportionate number of blacks.
You have a half-black person that has merely used office for his own means and betterment.
To me it's a no-brainer. But if you vary, by all means, GFI - President McCain ain't going to affect my life all that much really.

Ok, then
"...the Obama campaign made a huge, statewide effort to persuade independent and Republican voters to register as Democrats."
I don't want to hear a single Obama supporter complain about the stealth Republicans voting in Democratic primaries. The man himself is courting them. (In other words, unless you think she's now exerting mind-control, this can not be Hillary's fault).
