It's like a sewer in here. How sad that we can't see the overall commonalities. AKA is not the enemy. She's a liberal and will vote for Obama in the election, but perhaps not if people call her names.
But seriously, what good does it do having a "conversation" like this. For what it's worth, I heard Clinton's remarks myself this afternoon on tv and they seemed no better, no worse, than what has gone before. So let's let the people decide whether Wright makes someone unelectable. There are eleven contests to go our so, and Obama is currently slated to win around ten of them. If Clinton wins the next eleven (or even ten) contests, then her argument for her electability will become more persuasive than it currently is.
And Clinton supporters, note that Obama's support hasn't fallen as expected during this crisis. He seems if anything to be stable, with slight gains. But let's see what happens, shall we?

I am glad to hear that. But the Dems really need to stop the Hillary madness now, before she destroys the party. I hear they want to convene a mini convention to do just that. But that is not soon enough.

This race is Toxic
What Clinton and Obama are doing is making the winner of the primary unelectable. Maybe they think by doing this they only have to wait four years to run again. No matter the reason, each has poisoned the other just enough to tilt the election to McCain.
As much as people hate the idea that this can happen, most folks know it is true. I only takes a shift of 2-4 percent of the voters to tilt a national election.

A major reason Obama is doing so well is because people are rejecting Hillary Clinton.
That doesn't sound like a winner to me.

Hillary belongs to an insane, extremist right-wing cult that calls itself The Family.
McCain embraces the same people he rejected two presidential elections ago -- men who say the exact same things that Rev. Wright says, only using all the wrong reasons to prove their point (i.e. the gays caused 9/11).
Obama just goes to a church. An historically black church that deals with the history of being black in America. Where the pastor is loud (not shocking) and emotional (also not shocking) and -- wait for it -- not wrong in anything I've read or heard him say.
Rev. Wright is not my style, but that -- and the corporate media and Republicans telling me he's wrong -- doesn't make him wrong.
Hillary is not a Democrat. She is the candidate the right-wing masters have chosen and groomed and paid for (i.e. Murdoch, for one), since they know that no one who admits to being a Republican will get elected this year. She's been preparing for this through all the flag-burning amendment votes and anti-choice votes and pro-war votes she's cast in her very short tenure as a senator.
Obama was not supposed to happen. But he has and if he's not the nominee, I'm going to write him in. A vote for anybody else is a vote for exactly more of the same.

Hillary Clinton is not going to be run out of the race and since she is a candidate who loves America, she isn't going to turn the nomination over to Barack "God Damn America" Obama without a fight.
That's fine with us Democrats who also love America. We want the effective and experienced candidate and we will not vote Democratic if the other one is nominated. So it makes no difference to us if Obama's general election campaign is damaged in the process.
Get it?
