Make no mistake about it. They are McCain supporters who support Hillary, who supports McCain.

One of them made a claim being in the civil rights movement. I did see her hold the hose for Bull Connor.

Demonizing Barbara Ehrenreich is another low.

  • We know how bad Bush is

We don't know the depths of Obama's incompetence.

And we don't want to find out when it's too late, after he proves how "open minded" he is meeting with Iranian terrorists.

    Potentially worse than Bush? Absolutely.

People who love their country understand the problem with Wright and the problem with Obama's wife saying she was never proud of the country before he ran for president.

MoveOn and Kos don't get it but for most Americans, the choice is between Clinton and McCain.

Obama isn't an option and if he is nominated the entire Democratic party won't be an option for a long time to come after his opponents get done with him.

  • Hillary and the Humans

I can understand her big fish story about landing under sniper fire, dodging the tracers, dancing between the strafing rounds and taking the good fight to the enemy. But for her to say that her ridiculous preacher is any better than anybody else's ridiculous preacher is nonsense. They all say stupid things and religious people eat it up like manna. I've seen Hillary leap to her feet to applaud "the surge is working", I've little doubt she's said "amen" to a few dubious statements from her "pastoral leader".

It's bad enough that there are no proper atheists for us sane-minded folks to vote for.

  • Of course, she's a human who misspeaks..

But strangely she (and all the politicians who adopt the newly-minted "I misspoke" to mitigate their outrageous acts of blatant dishonesty) tend not to "misspeak" in the other direction. They don't tend to speechify thusly: "It was a lovely arrival, with flowers and little children and a band playing..." and leave it to the press or the opposition to uncover the fact that there were bombs going off everywhere and that said politician saved three elderly nuns and a pregnant woman from certain death. It just never seems that "misspeaking" runs in that direction. Hmm.

  • @SobeOne

SobeOne: "Actually it would be my pleasure to vote for McCain knowing that Bozzos like Obama, Rezko and Wright will be away form the White House."

Considering that Obama has cut ties to Rezko and that Wright is retired and disconnected entirely from Obama's campaign, you'll get 2/3 or your wishes even if Obama does win.

So what? I find it pathetic that she can't get away from the same entity that tossed Vince Foster's body all over the place.

  • @ Locait

This is exactly right, well said:

"MoveOn and Kos don't get it but for most Americans, the choice is between Clinton and McCain.

"Obama isn't an option and if he is nominated the entire Democratic party won't be an option for a long time to come after his opponents get done with him."

  • Is There No Taming This Shrew?

Hilary Clinton is like a screeching, clawing, cat trying to fight it's way out of a corner. All Obama and the democratic party have to do is just wait long enough for this hopelessly shrewish politico to put her foot further in her mouth! She will ultimately destroy herself! Hell, she's already endorsed her Republican competition over her fellow democratic opponent. She knows she's getting her arrogant, entitled feeling ass kicked and she will say or do anything to keep that from happening any more than it inevitably will. It's no mystery why the Governor of New Mexico, a tight Clinton associate, endorsed Obama over her. Whereas he might have a genuine fondness for Bill, he more than likely can't stand her ass! And news alert for all you Hilary fanatics, he isn't the only democrat to feel that way! Certainly not the only delegate. She knows if it comes down to deciding the candidate at the convention, as it looks like it inevitable will, the delegates will turn their backs on her for any number of reasons. That eight years of "experience" as the first Bitch--ugh--lady will come back to bite her in her ass!

As for the Jeremiah Wright situation, give it a rest! Maybe the reason why some people are so hysterical about what he says is because there more than a bit of truth in it! After 911 all the knee jerk patriotism has dissipated, and it's seems to be divisive business as usual in good ole American politics!!!

Only President Obama can heal this badly wounded nation!

  • cytheris

how do you get shots for cytheris? a contagion that vile, that virulent, which produces mental imbalance of monumental proportions needs to be immunized against before it spreads. Worse than george bush, the worst president in Murkan history? Lunatic. Hydrophobe. Lobotomized sheep (with apologies to any lambs on line). Do us a favor: emigrate. Soon.

  • Mr. Payne, you are well-named

You cause an ache in the gluteus--where your tongue works feverishly to dislodge its food.

  • Smith

I doubt anybody wants to hear again the factual or fabricted experiences of your fraidy cat life. Believe me, your biography isn't exactly a page turner, even if it is true.

  • Obama is a sure loser. Wake up.

Barack Obama will not win Ohio, Michigan, Florida, Pennsylvania in the general election.

Barack Obama is currently TIED with McCain in MASSACHUSSETTS with Hillary Clinton leading McCain by 15 (SurveyUSA)

Barack Obama can win 1000 college students in an Idaho caucus but he loses when millions of Democrats vote in a big state primary. It's about to happen again. He will lose in November and drag down the entire party with him.

The superdelegates know it and if they do the right thing they will reject this loser.

  • @ Reality-based Liberal: Umm, Fact Check...

She won't take on Wall Street.

I wonder how Barack Obama will do?

  • Logical conundrums

Generic Clinton supporter 1: I would vote for McCain over Obama!!

So you're enough of a committed Democrat that you want to prolong what we've had for the last 8 years?

Generic Clinton supporter 2: Obama's tearing the party apart - but we can reconcile with a Clinton - Obama ticket!

So you're against Obama in general, but not to the point that you want to risk giving up votes? And he's only dangerous if not under adult supervision?

Generic Clinton supporter 3: Reverend Wright is a bad man and a bad Christian and this makes me doubt Obama!

So the Clintons hung out with Billy Graham, noted beacon of tolerance, until he died, but that's okay because he's not some uppity urban preacher?

Does this all really make sense? Somehow I doubt it.

And before any of you generic Clinton supporters get your bile on in response, the same kind of letter could be written about some of the Obama supporters here.

If you are even nominally a Democrat and you would seriously consider voting for McCain or a third party candidate if your preferred nominee doesn't make the cut, then you need to go and think about what you're planning. What's important here?

Look, I think that Senator Clinton is a total hack who's perfectly happy to sell out the Democrats if she doesn't get what she wants - but if she gets the nomination I will run not walk to vote for her in November because any improvement over the current state of affairs is worth holding my nose for.
