  • The Clinton marriage is none of our business

...and that is part of the point isn't it?

It's none of our business and I didn't care about it at the time. The problem was, that marriage was thrown in our faces. Now, that wasn't the Clinton's fault but why in the world is she questioning the whole concept of standing by someone?

Her husband's lying under oath lead to an IMPEACHMENT! Ahem, he was the President of the United States.

You would think she wouldn't be so questioning of that kind of choice.

If Wright will be still brought up, then I think starting to talk about the Impeachment is fair game. How about Whitewater? Do you think the Right Wing will be shy about that if she becomes the candidate? No way. Let's see how vetted and tough she really is. She sure dishes it out...

  • "Clinton has every right to speak out about Her Faith"

Look, Hillary was asked a direct question about her faith. Senator Clinton has a right and a responsibility to her voters and potential voters to be direct an honest about the subject.

  • Honesty is not a Clinton virtue

Sorry to burst your myth, but you should know by now that "honesty" is not something the Clintons can claim. Bosnia, NAFTA, BAFTA, IRELAND...and the list goes on and on.

  • shawn the fool

If anyone knows foolishness from the inside, it's you shawnie baby. Maybe billary's shellshocked from all that bosnian sniper fire. what wright said was emphatically denounced in Obama's speech a week ago, a speech that exceeds anything Rodham ever has done or ever will do. She doesn't have greatness in her, merely seething limitless ambition. Or am-bitch-in. Or sniping. Watch out. Incoming. Our heroine, Hillary, stalwart in the face of enemy fire. Unfortunately, the ammunition ended up on monica's dress. now, that's Klinton shrapnel for ya. Read the Old Testament, you boob, and then tell me wright is out of the stream of Judeo/Christian thought. Ignoramus.

  • Smith

A whole lot darker? This from a shallow twit who's afraid of her own shadow?

  • manos99

She's off of her meds again. Don't push her over the edge, otherwise we will have to call in a watch for her.

  • What was so special about . . .

    . . . O'Bama's speech?

The fact that he thinks that disowning his grandmother for being afraid of black man would br for him the same as disowning Jeremiah Wright of "God Damn America" fame?

Or the fact that he considers this psychotic man (Wright) as family?

O'Bama is a racist, but I guess that the fact that he is black makes it right. Wright?

  • Obama can't win

    "God Damn America"

"I was never proud of this country until Obama ran for president"

Obama gave $27,000 to Wright in 2006

64% of Clinton supporters, including this one, won't vote for Obama if he is the nominee. We don't trust him.

Obama's defectors can be brought back into the fold on a Clinton-Obama ticket. Not so the other way around. We will defect to McCain because it's not about sour grapes, it's about the belief that Obama would be a worse president than Bush.

  • Shawnie

He who writes on bathroom walls, eats the shit in bathroom stalls.

  • Wright may not have been her pastor...

But Her Imperial Majesty will never be my President.

Prevaricator, opportunist, character assassin... She is no kind of Democrat that I want to be associated with.

  • Pittsburgh Tribune-Review

By the way the paper she was talking to is owned by none other than Richard Mellon Scaife. Yes, THAT, Scaife.

    I guess all is forgiven?

  • I wouldn't vote for Obama . . .

. . . even if Dick Chenney himself was the GOP nominee. I wouldn't vote for Chenney either, but McCain will do the trick. Actually it would be my pleasure to vote for McCain knowing that Bozzos like Obama, Rezko and Wright will be away form the White House.

  • Peeps

By the way the paper she was talking to is owned by none other than Richard Mellon Scaife. Yes, THAT, Scaife.

    I guess all is forgiven?

No. She joined the vast right wing conspiracy. She is now part of it and shilling for McCain. Read about "The Family" by Barbara Ehrenreich

  • @ Citizen_X: The 'Family'

Right. This story was written by somebody who was frequently referred to in prominent progressive/liberal women's groups in D.C. as "The Fruitfly" because she hung around at the fringes of every influential group, wanting to be part of them, but always wanting to tear them down once she gained any traction. She's kinda like the old Socialist Workers Group members of the 70s who used to belong to "mainstream" progressive groups and then tried to undermine them.

  • Alex, please do the research on "her religion"

See this article by Barbara Ehrenreich on commondreams.org http://www.commondreams.org/archive/2008/03/20/7798/, which also references the one in Mother Jones mentioned on the first page of this commentary. She has a lot of nerve to challenge Sen. Obama on his choices of pastors and religions with her record.

Just suggest you read this article and post an addendum to this article for some authenticity.

  • Obama is done, Wright has sunk him forever

    Thank the Lord Jesus!

  • Obama is a liar

Obama lied to voters about his position on Iraq withdrawal and had to fire his foreign policy adviser for telling the truth.

Obama lied to voters about his position on NAFTA and had to fire his economic adviser for telling the Canadians the truth.

    Obama is a liar.

  • How to Get Off The Pain Train

    Folks,

If we really are serious about change in America, we need to follow the lead of experts here at Salon, at Politico.com, the WaPo and many other sources and admit the simple fact that Hillary won't win. She won't win the nomination and she won't win the General election even if she was able to steal the Dem nomination...

That's just the fact... her gutter politics are really just a symptom of a larger problem...

    She. Just. Won't. Win.

And she shouldn't. And we, as individuals, can do some things right now to stop the bloodletting.

Here are some things we can all do:

    1) Get involved with MoveOn.org. This fine organization is building the party and now fully behind Obama. They are nationwide and they have tons of activities that you can get involved with to grow the vote, grow the party and help get a true leader (Obama) elected.

    2) Get to know and use FactCheck.org to rebut unfortunates who are now fooled by the media, by the Clinton War Machine, by the RNC or Foxittes. They have the goods on everyone... use facts, not opinions, with your friends.

    3) Convert three friends from passive to active... get them to do the same... this is a Pay It Forward technique that, if followed through, you'll be able to convert more than 10,000 people within weeks from passively thinking nothing will matter to fully understanding that their life will suck HARD unless they get off their confusion and get involved (with steps 1 and 2 above).

That's it, really. That's all we have to do! Plus vote of course...

Let's do it. Let's do it together. Let's make things right, my friends... by tilting things left...
