The camp's refrain deliberately misses the point: that just because she has somewhat racist views does not mean that she is not a person worthy of respect and love.

That was the danger of the speech he gave. It was layered and nuanced to the point that you really couldn't sum it up with some bullshit soundbite or bumper sticker. His opponent however could cherry pick things out of context to try to smear him though.
Given the collective IQ of the American electorate, which do you think is more effective? The long, nuanced speech or the quick damning soundbite?
I think the Clintonites here have answered that question already.
